As Tsuruko waited to escort Keitaro back to the bridge from to one of the Celestial CraneÆs toilets, she wondered why the young man and her sister werenÆt getting along better.
æI was expecting Urashima-san to be more enthusiastic about being around two attractive women. Most men his age would be,Æ the elder sister mused. æPerhaps he is an android? Or maybe he shares Fred LuoÆs tastes. That would explain why Motoko doesnÆt like him...Æ
That thought amused Tsuruko to the point where she missed Keitaro emerging from the toilet.
ôSomething funny?ö the bespectacled man asked, still getting used to the low gravity of interstellar flight.
ôItÆs something of a private joke, Mr. Urashima. DonÆt worry, itÆs not at your expense,ö Tsuruko insisted. ôI was considering why you and my sister arenÆt getting along as well as I had hoped.ö

Well, I have a couple of hundred words of the next chapter of this, but I really should have a title.
It has been suggested, however, that I could call it "Story #43-x" and people would still read it.
A nice thought, but I'm not sure that it's true.

I'll stand by "Inn Justice" since it is a breaking-the-fourth-wall Truth?.
I am ambivalent about "Innlaw Star" since Haruka is the only in-law of note (I think) and that Keitaro runs an inn totally didn't connect until now....
I must say, it is amusing how he gets along smashingly with Tsuruko but, as usual, starts off horribly with Motoko. Hopefully, Tsuruko will continue to prevent any sudden depressurizations.
Too bad for the immediate change in attitude by Keitaro (from what I think is canon). Willing to help, but not very proactive or nice (Not that I mind - it is amusing & refreshing). Of course the planet he was on doesn't help, but perhaps an apt analogy would be how he was trying to get into Todai? No one was supportive but he still tried so hard....

Motoko didnÆt understand why her sister was so trusting of the man theyÆd picked up on Tenrei.
It wasnÆt that heÆd displayed a terrible arrogance, and he certainly hadnÆt tried anything indecent with them. Not that he would have succeeded.
The younger of the Aoyama sisters knew that her blade and skills were sharp enough to stop any unwanted advances and to cut someone of UrashimaÆs build to ribbons in the blink of an eye.
æBut why does Aneue seem to like him so much? And just where does she think weÆre going to get the kind of money to buy his Caster Gun off him?Æ Motoko pondered. æEither Aneue has some hidden stash of gems or precious metals that she hasnÆt told me about or sheÆs planning to cheat him.Æ
