I'd also suggest adding a Star Wars section.

As it is the series is a little to spread out over sections depending upon which place the start point is in. Movies, games, comics, TV, and a few more...

I agree.. It can be a major chore to find a specific fic..

It might work to just add a general scifi/fantasy section

You realize that would encompass practically everything on TFF right? No.. The SciFi/Fantasy genres are a little to broad..

One small request: if anything, the Movie section should get an "Ideas" subsection.

A possible solution is to move away from medium based boards and towards genre based boards.

That is, we wouldn't have a 'Comics' section we would have a Superhero section, which could include all super hero stuff, whether comic, TV, book or other. Popular fandoms could keep getting their own sections (because it's more useful that way) but my reading tastes in fan fiction are far more geared towards genre than medium. What do I care is a story is based upon a comic, TV show or novel? I care if I'm about to read about elves, spaceships or something else.

This is probably not a very practical idea (we'd either need to lock the Book, Cartoon, Comic, Movie and TV-Show sections and start fresh or someone would need to resort them into the new genre sections) and I think there would be a lot of resistance to removing the Anime/Manga section but I think it would be for the better in the long run.

Running with this idea for devil's advocate prospective, how wide would we want the section?. Over sectioning results to reduce content, imo, and it might be better to have some big, broad categories. Stuff on the order of Fantasy, a Science Fiction, stuff like that.
