Evangelion NGE/Robotech Story ideas

Misato's scar is actually far from her sexual organs. It's directly over her stomach. She's more likely to have lost a rib* than unable to bear children. Just because she and Kaji fucked like rabbits back in college doesn't mean she's sterile; it could be she just used pills or he used a condom. Children would have interfered with her upcoming military career at the time.


*a lulzy theory of mine is that Evangelions share Misato's DNA. B) But it's more likely they had to operate on her somehow, if she ate something that refused to be digested or deliberately tried to take poison. How long did she float around in that capsule in the Antarctic before being rescued? It's also likely that since massive tsunamis would have wreaked havoc through all coastal regions all over the world, it would have taken at least several days to find a ship and a crew willing to go off exploring.

The waters in Antarctica are -red-, even fifteen years later as shown in show. A girl desperate enough to drink that goop could have had serious complications.

Sort of would have put a whole new angle on Misato and Kaji busting in EoE style to "adopt" the orphaned Mayumi, in the part of my Crack Opus that takes place after Third Impact...

As they say in the Interwebz, [Citation needed]. I distinctly recall it was never mentioned at all in the series. Granted, it has been a while since I had to pore through the script. Please provide evidence to support your assertion.

Researching a bit, it seems I'll have to backpedal away from my assumption on Misato's scar. She had it -during- Impact, and prior to being shoved into the pod. Again, it starts and ends at her ribcage, far from her ovaries.

You do have to prove first that she IS infertile though. Where does it say in canon that her chromosomes were damaged by radiation? Hearsay is not evidence. Where did you pick this up?

That idea sucks, I mean come on that would be something for a crackfic not a serious story.

To be honest? That's the best I can come up with outside of the bog standard port-characters-from-one-show-into-another crossover. The themes of the two shows are so radically different that the only way to cross them over without it either sucking hard or being really really boring is to add a little bit of crack (or being a god-tier writer which, lets be honest, few of us are and I am most certainly not).

What do the two series even have in common other than giant robots, anyway? A long-dead ancient civilization? Why would you want to cross them over in the first place?

Anyway for my Multicross with Robotech: New Generation/Shadow Chronicles, NGE, Orguss, and a couple other shows, if an example of a story like that would be This one, but obviously Robotech would be one of the dominant powers, I would like to see it done like the author Warringer does it, if you want examples see this link.

Bah, not yet hardcore enough! :lol: You musts cross Robotech, NGE, and DwarfFortress!

... because NGE is clearly a planetwide tantrum death-spiral. As Rorsach's Blot's crackfic shows, alcohol is the solution to all life's problems. Misato was tragically, tragically wrong - she had kept the alcohol all to herself and thus doomed the world. Thou musts encourage Shinji's inner Dorfiness.

Idea: Cross: Neon Genesis Evangelion with Robotech.

Possible reasons:

1. To see how the REF changes the Evangelion Earth and universe

2. To see how the REF adapts to the situation in the Evangelion universe.


Characters it will follow:

1. John Bernard: son of Scott Bernard and Ariel the first Human/Invid hybrid, Married to Misato Katsuragi and father to two children with Misato as well as the adoptive father to Shinji Ikari, he is a General in the Robotech Star Forces(RSF).

2. Shinji Ikari: member of the Robotech Federation since he was adopted by John Bernard and Misato Katsuragi Bernard, he was trained by John and has become an Ace pilot in Skull Squadron.

3. Misato Katsuragi Bernard: Wife of John Bernard and mother of two children and adoptive mother of Shinji Ikari, she was rescued at Antarctica by a investigating RSF unit, because of her rescue she was able to avoid permanent injury especially avoiding losing her capability to have children, because of this she put her loyalties with the Robotech Federation and the RSF.

4. Asuka Langley Soryu: she is the designated pilot of Unit 02, she was adopted after her mother died and is now a competitive girl, but very kind hearted and would give her life to protect her loved ones and friends, when she meets Shinji she is immediately taken by him.

5. Ritsuko Akagi Kaji: she married a Ryoji Kaji who she got involved with in college and is the mother of two children, she works for Nerv with her husband, they act like parents to Rei Ayanami.

6. Rei Ayanami: she is partially raised by Ritsuko Akagi Kaji and her husband Ryoji Kaji and sees their children as siblings, she is much more open and more human like even falling in love with Shinji.

7. Ryoji Kaji: He is the husband to Ritsuko Akagi Kaji and father to their two children and an partial father to Rei he works for Nerv but also as a double agent of the UN to spy on Nerv and SEELE.


Battle scenes you'd like to see:

1. Battle between the REF and the Angels and the OC Aliens of the Evangelion universe


Plot ideas:

1. The REF won their war with the Haydonites but the devastation to Earth and their colonies was too great so they, and their alien allies that joined them, use a technology they were able to invent as well as technology they attained from the Haydonites in the war and used a new dimensional shifting technology to move to a Alternate Universe, the Evangelion universe 50 years before Second impact.

2. They settle in and colonize several worlds including the Sentinal Worlds increasing their power base and civilization by creating the Robotech Federation and the Robotech Star Forces(RSF), and also spreading the Flower of Life to their colony worlds that are terraformed with their technology as well as keeping tabs on Earth and discovering many races that existed in their universe.

3. When Second Impact happens they investigate, and end up rescuing Misato Katsuragi, they also decide to secretly make bases and facilities on Earth to help rebuild as well as start spreading the Flower of Life on Earth that's how they come across Shinji Ikari and adopt him into the Robotech Federation and the RSF they also discover that the Angels are weapons of that were sent by an unknown race to prepare a world for invasion.

4. With that knowledge they begin preparing for the aliens and the Angels, when Shinji is called to Tokyo 3 he is sent as an agent to spy on SEELE and Nerv, and a diplomat to the UN along with his adoptive mother Misato Katsuragi Bernard and adoptive father John Bernard since they have been trained to deal with Earth and will be more easily received by the people of the UN and Nerv.

Possible locations:

1. Tokyo 3

2. Lunar Base Aluce

3. any other place you can think of.

Simple cross plot, when the SDF3 tried to fold back to Robotech Earth, they ended up at Evengelion Earth instead of being sucked into the Regis' Newspace. After the Sentinels campaign they're not going to let ANY Earth be overrun by a hostile force.

Now you've got Rick, Lisa, Max, Miriya, Dana and her people from Southers Cross, and the new generation of VT pilots from the sentinels all coming to play.

Bye-bye Angels.
