Naruto Oh God! You forgot your brain...

As a side note, the world of Naruto is a lot more technologically advanced than you think. They have mp3 players, TVs, Video Game Consoles and Laptops. Where am I getting all this from? The first three can all be seen in one of the closing songs for Naruto. It's called 'Speed' by Analog Fish. As for the laptop? I've seen some of the medical equipment in canon. That stuff's way more powerful than a laptop, however, I have seen an actual laptop during the fanon filler arc to the Star Village.
:headbanger: :headbanger: :headbanger:

I have to wonder... does this dude even realize what fanon means?

It's not the first time i encountered authors like this but the lack of logic is slowly starting to get on my nerves. It makes me wonder, do they have a thing called brain between those two ears?

......

This guy fails so hard, I'm not even going to bother flaming him. It'd be a waste of breath.

For starters, IT WAS OROCHIMARU WHO CALLED THE SHOTS. Kabuto was just a goddamn spy, and totally expendable. Oro would've invaded the Leaf regardless of whether Kabuto was put on the shelf or not.

Second, there's NO GODDAMN PROOF it was Kabuto who cast the sleep genjutsu. For all we know, it could have been one of the Sound 4.

Third, GODMODDING NARUTO = THE PHAIL. Have a nice day.

well to be fair filler arcs where the animating company just makes crap up is practically fanon... wasn't there a filler episode where hinata was kicking all sorts of ass or something, sounds like fanboy fanon to me.

I'm suprised that you still have faith in humanity. It's not like we're going to get any better.

Considering that if you take one look at GenocideHeart's topic of bad fiction, these guys don't have logic nor brains. They have this tiny dwarf hamster running in a wheel and peeing all over the place to do the work for the things mentioned if you didn't notice.

Also, I think you're underestimating kabuto's place within orochimaru's forces.

So you're saying that he is so vital, an entire strategy planned for months would be called off just because he got his pretty little ass put away?

Please.

Orochimaru wants nothing short of the Leaf's annihilation, and he was about to KILL Kabuto for showing him PITY after he got his arms mangled. Kabuto is useful, but in the end, he's just a pawn. And pawns are expendable and easily replaced.

I'm the guy that posts most of those fics lately.

Kabuto wasn't that important in Orochimaru's plans... the snake allowed him to go after sasuke, who was at the time protected by the ANBU. It was a major risk, and had there been other ninja's on the job Kabuto could have died.

So his relevance for Oro's plans is quite small.

I was more thinking along the lines of kabuto knowing the entire plan and orochimaru calling it off in case the leaf was able to prepare a proper defense.

You forget a small detail. Orochimaru had THREE spies in the leaf - Kabuto, Tsurugi and Yoroi. Tsurugi was allegedly killed by Kankuro, but Yoroi was only KO'd, so even with Kabuto on the shelf, Oro still had someone to inform him of sudden changes.

Thus, no reason to call the plan off. ANd that's not counting the info he got from Baki, when posing as the Kazekage.

One error here...

Orochimaru was at the preliminaries, so any plans he had till then could be altered. I doubt he entrusted a SPY with his strategy.
