Did those cards come out after Savers? Because the Savers anime really didn't seem to believe that.
The Royal Knights were in another league then Belphemon in the anime.
I'm not sure exactly when they came out, but it was in 2006, I think. Meaning it was before or during. Also, since there was a ShineGreymon Burst Mode card in that set, Savers was almost certainly running at the time.
Even so, <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha_carddass/Da-520/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>ShineGreymon Burst Mode</a> is way weaker then <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha_carddass/DM-213/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Belphemon.</a>
Also, since that set came out, ShineGreymon Burst Mode and Belphemon have both appeared in the same set again, though only once.
<a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha/Da-332/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Burst Mode</a> was weaker then both cards. <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha/Da-413/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Here</a> and <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha/Da-461/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>here.</a>
Normal ShineGreymon was always weaker then Belphemon, no matter what set he was in.
As for the Royal Knights (within Alpha Card)...
Weaker:

Stronger:
None.
Within Alpha Card, the most recent set, there are seven...subsets I guess. Alpha Evolve 01-07. In addition, there is an expansion to Alpha Evolve 02. Despite that, there are no cards belonging to the Royal Knights that can defeat Belphemon.
This includes Crimson Mode.
Of all the Royal Knight cards I know of, I can only think of two cards that managed to beat Belphemon within the same set.
The first was <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha_carddass/Da-499/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Omegamon X</a>. This card is weaker then the more recent Belphemon, though.
The second is <a href='http://cards.wtw-x.net/alpha_carddass/Da-498/' target='_blank' rel='nofollow'>Alphamon Ouryuuken</a>. This card is strong then even the recent Belphemon...by 10 points. Belphemon is 1580, Alphamon is 1590.
I'll look through the other sets in a bit.
Edit:
Update: There are no Royal Knights within Data Carddass that could defeat Belphemon.
Edit 2:
Finished looking. There are no published Royal Knight cards except the two listed above that are capable of defeating Belphemon. Most of them are weaker then Sleep Mode, actually, though several very powerful ones, like Crimson Mode, are able to defeat Belphemon while he's unconscious.
If he's awake, they die, though.
