Basically, the OVA looks like it's going to act as though the events of the game happened, but at the same time didn't happen. The only characters you should see would be the ones that were in Roots, specifically the former Twilight Brigade, with a random Sakisaka cameo...yeah.

Ah, I see. Being that all of the .hack anime have had releases in other countries, I can't see why it wouldn't eventually make its way over eventually.

Sounds interesting and confusing though. Especially with Sakisaka being there, with him quitting in Roots and like one reference in the G.U. games. So would that mean AIDA would be gone, or would it not be?

Because it sounds like a very confusing concept.

I'd just prefer an OVA taking place after G.U. personally.
