Patch Day

Personally, i've already got 1 title when the servers restart. As for what i want, i'm going to try and get the "Jenkins" title
I want to get inscription on my main toon, a healadin, as I already stated I would be the guild scribe (well, in the sense that I'd try to get it asap, others will probably go for it too but haven't been trying to hoard any herbs).
Besides that, just level my alts while I don't have much reason to focus on my main besides getting used to new mechanics.
Sadly, I'm not gonna be getting them to 70 before expansion comes out (shoulda focused on 'em earlier, damn the siren call of raids!). I have 5 alts and they're all between lv 8-14, with the exception of the level 21 shaman.
Since I want to level them all at roughly same time, I'll be lucky to have them all past 30.
But yeah, my plan is to just switch from day to day between each toon, giving each 4 days to build up a little bit of rest time. Not gonna worry about professions or BGs, and the only times I'll be doing instances is if one or more of my lv 70 friends wants to run me through one.
Once WotLK comes out, I'm going back to near-full dedication on my main, getting it to level 80. After that, back to alts unless a raid is happening, or maybe dailies since they'll be new and hopefully not boring and stale like the level 70 ones have become by now.

No, I wasn't able to get onto the WoW main page earlier either. But its working now.
I do have the patch downloading currently. Somehow. Its huge though. I'm at 20% of 1.2 Gigs. ETA is fluxing between 3 hours and 24 hours. Its kinda annoying.
I can't wait for it to finish. Hopefully that will be done right as I get off work in five hours. Then I can finally see the new paladin stuff on live. It makes me happy.

WoW is down till 2 pm PST. Yes, it's a LONG downtime. All gearing up for 3.0.2.

Well, I only have one toon that is close to 70 besides my Horde Warlock. That being my 'main' Night Elf Hunter on a different server. If you can only have one 'true' main, than that would be my closet and highest 'alt'.
The next highest of my 13 out of 15 toonslol:. Though I only realistically play 4 of them on a significant basis) is a 52 Draenai Paladin, and then my Blood Elf Paladin on Bloodscalp. Realistically, the only one to hit 70 before Wrath is my NE Hunter.
No plans to pick up inscriptions anytime soon. Probably get that profession after Wrath comes out.

What's the average download speed that you guys are experiencing for the patch? The only reason it took me an hour is because Norton Live Update decided to restart my laptop in the middle of the download.
On a side note....off to work without even catching a glimpse of 3.0. Maybe I'll get lucky and I'll get fired? =D

Meaning that unless someone from my old project walks up to me and asks for help....I've got nothing to do.
I am sitting here in front of my computer, with nothing to do.

Ugh...I'd rather be home where I could surf the internet and read fics, play video games, download the patch, etc.
I mean, sure, I'm getting paid to be here. But goddammit... instead of destaffing someone, keeping others stressed to hell and me bored to hell...keep me staffed and helping.

Checked 3.0.2. out. It rocks! I think. :unsure: They seem to still have a few 'bugs' to work out (one of the realms I play had an error loading the character list). But over all, the new talents and are, are fun as Hell.
With the VERY LITTLE time I spent working on them. :lol:
Anyways, the most I really did was earn a few achievements, changed one of my characters hair style, haven't actually done much. :sweat:

A lot of realms are still down or giving issues at the log in screen. Probably doesn't help that so many people are trying to get on at the same time. I've actually heard a rumor that the talent patch is causing a lot of these problems, and that blizz is planning on removing that snippet of content for the time being.
In the meantime, ya can always play an alt on another server. It'll give ya a chance to test if any of your addons still work and to rebuild your UI.
