What if Souji and Adachi's roles have been reversed?

Adachi gets his transfer, comes to Inaba, meets Izanami (of course) and learns about the place by Dojima. Presents his family to him: his daugther Nanako and his nephew Souji, who has been here for a while and got the reputation to be an all-around nice guy in town...

One or two days pass, he meet some new people...

Then the murders start.

Random idea: what if Chie had the same, ah, attitude issue that Tatsuya Sudou had in P1 and 2?

Just because the idea of the cute girl going all psychopath-y and VOICESVOICES is hilarious, and said psychopath being on YOUR side is doubly so...

I never watched The X-Files, but for some reason the thought of a crossover, even if it's just them wandering around Inaba without realizing that the ones who can give them the answers are right over there, makes me laugh.

Now, THIS is a good idea? A couple of things:
1. How would Souji bump off Mayuri and Saki?
2. How would Souji drop info, like Adachi did(this bit made Adachi suspicious)
3. I'm thinking Souji would actually fight alongside the Investigation Team, but tries to make the rescue attempts happen as slow as possible; this way, he could keep an eye on his opponents.

Now, THIS is a good idea? A couple of things:
1. How would Souji bump off Mayuri and Saki?
2. How would Souji drop info, like Adachi did(this bit made Adachi suspicious)

1. Visiting the Inn, good at sneaking around... Honestly, I didn't think too much on that.
2. Why would Souji do that? Adachi could just ask his partner Dojima for the info he need.
3. Wouldn't work. There would be doubts on him since he would be able to enter the Channel without fighting his Shadow. Besides, remember how each member joined the team? How would Souji 'learn' about them and ask to join without being strange?

And also... Who said Adachi's first team members would be those we know? Would a police officer be with kids or coworkers during the day. Sucks for Yosuke and Chie, but unless a bad accident with a TV happens, they'll never be able to enter the Midnight Channel.

And yes, that means Dojima as a possible team member.

Good point, Megaolix. I suggested the #2 thing as a way to cause something to make Adachi and his crew to be suspicious of Souji....Speaking of which, as for #3, Souji could say something similar as to how Adachi got his power(after all, no one seems to suspect Adachi.) Besides, this could be quite a twist..one of your own allies is the villain! A cliche, but a unique one...He could be a temporary "party member" of sorts...That reminds me...during the Souji battle in this scenario, he could switch Personas(a la the "Shadow Minato" in The Answer,) making him quite dangerous.

As for CHie and Yosuke, they could be an accident when Adchi tries to sneak in the Junes TV for the first time...they(maybe with Souji along) spot him, try to stop whatever they think he's doing, and they all fall in.
