an idea that came to me a little while back that refused to die and basicly popped back up
in season five of btvs, before joyce's death, the scoobies are panicking.
xander and willow, worried about dawns safety and the looming threat of glory, call in the fang gang and oz.
giles decides to take a gamble on faith and gets her out of jail to help fight glory.
willow stumbles on a spell that will give dawn added protection from glory.
at the same time drucilla has a vision and directs herself and darla back to sunnydale
when willow cast the spell drucilla directs glory and her minions to the slayer and friends and messes with the spell causing it to go out of control and mutate into a new spell. in that instance the fang gang, scoobies, and others i.e those that were in the general vicinity of the spell are caught up and ripped from convential reality.
(it turns out drucilla's actions were at the direction of a power that wished to correct the timeline, get rid of glory, thwart jasmine, and bring the slayer line back on track ).
the group are basicly warped and seeded into a new universe a psu/pso fusion universe.

xander is basicly reborn/warped into Xander Harrizan a recent graduate of the gurhal guardian accademy. a bit of a slacker and somewhere around middle of the graduating class. he's looking to coasting through life as a guardian in peacetime era
but due to xander's unusual memory retention, one day he basicly wakes up.
and by waking up i mean remembering his previous life and his friends. somehow he also knows the danger isnt over he knows that glory is still out there looking for her key.
so taking more dangerous missions that will send him far and wide through the gurhal and rangol systems he sets out to find and try and awaken the rest of the warped sunnydale gang, and protect dawn from glory.
to make things more confusing, in this world their are counterparts to people that he and the buffyverse crew have met over the years, people like the mayor wilkins, marcie ross, kendra, and his brother in all but blood jessie.
any thoughts and suggestions on where i should take this? should i do a facts challenge to help refine the plot and characters?
