This is an open concept piece, set after EOE. The opening set up is that:
Shinji wakes up on the beach, and meets Asuka. However, at the start, he is unaware of the following fact-
She is actually Rei, Asuka and Misato, fused into one.
Fairly early on, he learns this, and:

*Perhaps you could write it as a horror story, as the three minds in Asuka slowly drive each other mad, and ends with them chasing Shinji through the ruins of Tokyo-3.
*Or maybe a comedy, as the Asuka and Rei personalities drive each other up the wall, with Misato acting as referee when things get too heated.
*Or maybe, a tender love story, as the three of them come to terms with their new state, and learn to live with one another, and Shinji.
