I've not heard if the PS 4 is compatible or not, but I would assume it. Perhaps someone who owns one can weigh in on that.
At any rate the PS3 along with a few Visio televisions now support 3D streaming with Netflix. This comes along with the 'Super HD' support for their streaming services.
It may not be available everywhere, and it also requires at least a 6mb connection. 12 mb for the highest quality possible. It started within the last month where I live, but I do believe it was available in limited markets previously.
There isn't much there yet of course. A few documentary films and cheap knock off 3D animation films mostly.
Still it's nice to know for anyone who has a 3D screen and a PS3. You can be sure that more mainstream 3D films will be showing up as the service matures over time.
Spent a few hours today watching some 3D Imax films and they looked great. Little more than demo films are available, but the streaming service does an admirable job of providing the content if you've got the hardware and bandwidth to handle it.
Anyway, it's pretty cool to have another option beyond YT3D for streaming 3D videos if you've got the tech to support it.
