Just now, I was looking over a copy of one of the earlier Negima! volumes, and I thought to myself a number of questions, such as 'Which part of Wales was Negi brought up in?' and 'Where did he learn magic?'.
Going from the the pictures I've seen of his village, we can determine two facts:
*The village is in a mountainous region.
*It is somewhere cold enough that it snows during the winter.
My personal feeling is that his village is somewhere in the North or North-West of Wales; possibly Denbighshire; or Gwynedd, maybe even in the shadow of Mount Snowdon.
