Real-Life Earth or Tom clancy Earth/Wh40k crossove

#1
Poster Note: Real-Life Earth = (RL-earth), Tom Clancy Earth = (TC-earth)

I have gotten into my head the wonderful and cruel idea of what would happen if RL-earth or TC-earth were transferred to a WH40k universe during the very middle of the Age of Strife but in a universe where for some reason the GEOM is crippled and can do nothing now but is also transferred to RL or TC earth. He can be used to broadcast an Astrominican or more likely asked. The Chaos gods are planning to cause all humanity to fall to the worship and slavery of chaos after the end of the Age of Strife. The alien races that have turned on the human race despite treaties or have just repaid imperialism in kind for humanity's actions or just are di#ks have invaded and exterminated, enslaved and eaten a large percentage of human planets, mostly piratical races are waiting for the warp storms to end so they can invade remaining human space further while others don't care. The Cabal are adjusting their plans whereby they can cause all of humanity to be extinct so that Chaos will cease to exist........for now at least.

Into this madness is tossed our or TC earth and they are somehow informed of what is going to happen and where we exist. The extinction of Humanity of 40k will also include the death of the humans of the earths that have been ported in. In orbit of the ported earth are some abandoned Adeptus Mechanicus and some newer (built during the age of strife) low quality(pirate) human warships that for some reason have Navigators held in a Stasis Field. And to make things worse 1 year after the transferring, psykers start being born or individuals suddenly show psyker talent but their connection to the warp is almost non-existent but they or new born ones will grow stronger in little time bringing with it all the dangers of psykers.

Requirements:

1] No crossovers from other scifi or fantasy universe. Other than that anything goes.

2] How do either RL or TC earth handle psykers?

3] How do the Religious groups and atheists handle the new cosmology? You know Chaos gods, souls getting eaten in the warp, no kind, loving omnipotent God just the laughter of thirsting gods :evil2: and other fun stuff like that.

4] How the universe change affects politics and what do the people and their government plan to do in response to all the threats against both their branch and all 40k humans? Do they plan to unite all the disparate human planets by force or negotiation for a federation in order to defend ourselves or will we bicker and die?

What does the picture even mean?

To me what makes the challenge great is the upheaval that the situation would create and the author can showcase as well as to how people would react to the fact they are now in a very nihilistic universe. Any earth that is not will do as long as it has some grounding close to real life earth.

:hmm: So you are a real life LOLI? Huh, what do you know, you learn something new everyday.

But being serious, you don't like the challenge. Ok, I have no problem with that but can you give me some reason why you don't approve of it?

Go play RIFTS or Shadowrun. They're this.

Or, perhaps, PARANOIA.

Hate the mutant. Obey the Computer.

Yeaah. Flat What. And not in a good way. What did you even say? I think it'd be helpful if you put commas and periods in there. Currently you're idea is like the written equivalent of someone babbling without taking a single breath.

So yeah. Does Not Approve.

Take it to SpaceBattles. Glorifying Ryanverse earth far beyond what it should be capable of is their favourite pastime.

I don't glorify Ryanverse. I don't particularly care for the Tom Clancy series. The only reason I posted that the TC-earth can be used is because it seems to be an earth that people nearly grounded on our earth and one that people liked.

As for all the disapproval, why? For what reasons you don't like the challenge other than you or the other posters don't like it?

At the very least give a reason.

It's... okay. Let's make a metaphor.

The idea is this:

Pennsylvania vanishes one day, except for the Mayor of Philadelphia, who will leave the light on in his office I guess. In it's place are stone-age Indians from 10k years ago. Also, Earl's Oil 'n Lube on 17th is still there, with some of the mechanics sleeping in the break room, and a Buick Skylark in the middle of brake work and an Impala getting an oil change (it has a Tom-Tom in the glove compartment). I guess the Indians can ask them questions and stuff about cars.

How do these neolithic hunter-gatherers deal with suddenly being thrust into the modern world? How is their religion challenged? How do they prevent the National Guard from showing up and imposing US martial law? How do they not all die from influenza or whatever?

That's the challenge you've posed, only the technology gap is even more absurdly huge.

It's either a fatalistic, "we're fucked", which wraps its lips around the WH40K 'verse's mutated cyber-cock until it splooges Exteriminatus all over your face, or it's a series of convoluted improbabilities that wraps its mouth around Ryan's dick and sucks as he's driving the train along the plot rails around improbable swerves.

Either way it's gonna blow, that's what I'm getting at.

Then I suggest you get it out of your head. It'll feed on the stupidity in it and gradually eat you up entirely, and given it found a place in your head to start with, I'd say it's got quite the appetizer.

First things first my head is not on straight as I am writhing this as I am slightly drunk celebrating my cousins birthday. So I apologize for anything stupid I might say.

Man you guys are very hostile to me, have I done something to offend you guys?
Except for you "daniel_gudman" I like your metaphor :yay:. First time I have ever read some one use 40k as a sexual fantasy; but I get what you are saying. I am not a fool I know that the challenge I have created is founded on a dozen improbabilities but it is not unique in that regard; the ryanverse/battletech story on spacebattles.com or 'The Golden Rule' on this forum are examples.

The situations that fueled me into creating this thread is hypocrisy of western morality with its baggage of self-righteousness. I got into a debate with a guy about a race of original vampires, for a fanfic story set in the modern world, whose government is a strict aristocratic oligarchy that is actually very fair to all vampire as long as the laws are obeyed which are not fascistic to its race but deals with criminal breaches of its laws harshly. Anyway the guy ranted about how the vampires were evil because they are not a democracy and how they don't obey human morals especially western morals, the vampires leaders will punish severely those vampires who kill or turn children into vampires, so he deemed them to be an inferior species and unworthy of life. Sounds very Nazi doesn't it?

This guy is not unique. There is also another pri@k that pisses me off; he knows about the 40k setting and so moans very loudly about how humanity should just kill itself since the effort of imposing its survival is too immoral. Just to allay any accusations of bias, my 40k army are Orks because Green is best! I love Orks.

I just want to force the emos and whiners of real life into a setting where its problems are a million times worse than anything in real life. Plus I just have to say trolling a militant atheist or religious nut by proving the warp and its daemons exist and telling them that when they die all of them are going to warp to be tormented for all eternity or cease to exist is just delicious.

Fine if you don't like my idea do you guys have any ideas of your own especially my favorite fanfiction author: bluepencil. Hey, bluepencil when are you going to update your Lovehammer story?

*Frustrated head bashing against the wall* Pal, I have already said that I don't really care for Tom clancy verse I just used it as an example of what you can use. I don't want a wank fic, I would like to read a fic that brings some WH40k concepts to life like the afterlife being hell or aliens mostly being alien instead of being humans who look different but have human morals.

I posted the challenge that way it is because I wanted people to discuss a way of bringing WH40k concepts into other verses that are not magic or sci-fi based. As for the challenge being filled with nonsense, I agree but it is not alone in that regard. The challenge is not really a challenge and more of an idea of what could be done. That's why I asked if people had ideas of their own.

If you are not interested then just ignore this thread or say so. No need to flame me. To 'The Ero-Sennin' why do you want a 100 dollars? I didn't ask or force you to do anything.

Okay, buddy, if you want to wank to 40K marching into other universes, there are fanfics out there that do that. If I were to write anything 40K, it would be specifically to break the universe and drive the grimdark to its logical conclusion, with the single-minded self-destruction apparent in the setting leading to just that.

Also, a hundred dollars is just because.
