For some reason, I really seem to like the AU stories branching off from the Yet Another Halloween Fanfiction concept. List your favorites here.

Sunnydale Berserker (link and author unavailable, atm) is a good one. Not really deep in plot or writing, but enjoyable anyway. Wolverine!Xander.

Tohonomike's "Xander-Hog Day". The premise is that Xander dressed up as Bill Murray's character in "Groundhog Day". So he ends up repeating the Halloween episode over and over and over and over... And like Phil Connors, Xander takes advantage of the repeating day, by trying out different costumes. Eventually, the pile-up of memories, skills, and what-not creates a crisis.

If you like Xander and other BtVS characters gaining powers from their Halloween costumes, this fic is for you. There's also numerous spin-offs from this fic.

Argh. Xanderhog day is only good for the first few chapters, then it turns into Mirrors Multiplied/Reality Squared type of confusion. Then again, I know people here who like those stories.

Search And Destroy on tth (author/link unavailable atm) is an IntegraHellsing!Buffy story that seemed like it was going very well, but just kindof stops. :(

Another Kind of Angel (?) also on tth is a Walters(?)!Xander that has Xander joining the Hellsing operation in Europe. Enjoyable, if a little frustrating with the relationship tangles.

Considering I've never really seen or read any stories about Hellsing, the way the author did these crossovers is actually really good.

I saw a one shot with TatewakiKuno!Xander that was entertaining. I believe I saw it on ff.net.

Does anyone know of a Ranma!Willow or maybe Shampoo!(Scooby) or any other Ranma 1/2 YAFHs?

"I Am What I Am" by M McGregor is good, but long. Xander dresses up as himself for Halloween, and gains the memories of his entire life until his death as an old man. He then tries to change things for the better, but others resist those changes.

I can not think of any Halloween fic in which the former happens, although I have thought about writing one where Buffy and Willow go as Pokegirls.

Of course you haven't seen it. He wasn't asking about a story where Xander goes as a poke-girl trainer. He asked about a story where he was stuck in another world where he gets a poke-harem. This thread is for Halloween costumes, nothing else belongs.

Not to mention that the Xander in this story isn't just a crude copy of his source material. But rather, a successor to said source material!

Yes, the relationship tangles are kinda confusing... but that was the byproduct of me trying to use the best of both the anime and the manga. Now, though, there's a second anime out that more closely follows said manga.

I love McGregors stuff, but I couldn't really get into Defender of the Night.
