He can hear the cries for help, the crowd of people calling for a saviour.
"Endure," his voice breaks clear, "You can be the outcast. Make the choice that others couldn't..."
The swords fall tip-first.
It is an omen.
"The right choice."

So is the cloaked man's icy visage.
"The world needs you."

The people are cheering him on.
