Ranma ½ Rosario + Ranma

Good on you BD, good on you.

Question:

Will Jesus and Lucy show up in the BHoC or are they locked in Omake-land?
Jesus is omake-only. I'm not willing to bring the Son of God into the main storyline, where the characters are expected to take things more seriously.
Lucy is more of an open question. I don't have any plans for her to show up in the main plot because there are more important things to focus on, but since she at least has a strong personal connection with one of the main characters it's a possibility.

Here's an idea for some Moka bashing. Have her turn into a Twilight vampire and start sparkling. That would be fun.
That would not be fun. That would be awkward, gratuitous, uncomfortably blunt, and totally senseless.
Besides, I'm pretty sure I've brought this up before, but I'm not big on bashing series I've never even read/seen.
Same. Which is why I made the mistake of reading all the books to properly bash it.

Never again.

You read an entire series explicitly so you'd have more legitimacy in criticizing it?
That is SO close to being admirable.

It's my normal policy when it comes to bashing things. Right now the only exception is comics because pages get leaked weeks ahead of the actual issue release, there are no comic shops near me, and I refuse to torrent.

Plus I have a lot of free time. A lot.

I made the same mistake with the Hunger Games and 50 shades series... and every Laurel K. Hamilton book after Obsidian Butterfly.

Man I used to really like Laurel's stuff until after Obsidian Butterfly too. I tried to get some enjoyment of the rest but it became like the Wheel of Time. Same damn book and lines with maybe a new character or kink thrown in to justify printing. I started following it because early on it was an interesting take on magic. Then it became more than half filled with chapter on chapter of sex, a little bit of plot, and bitching about burnout or her harem.

O well Larry Correia now fills my desire for monsters in modern times quite well with his monster hunters inc. series. Gunporn, babes, and snark is good enough for me.

I agree with all of this.

I have a odd question in relation to Ranma...seeing as he goes around destroying mountains and such, plus the tornados...

Is there a "Human Masquerade" study group he can get into? I mean, he seems like he has a pass on most of his classes as a "Solid C" student due to his connections as Richard's TA and his Enforcer Vice Captain stuff, but he still is struggling in his "Human Disguise" area.

I mean, there is bound to be a few other students that need remedial human civilization courses.

Or does he spend Saturday nights with Tsukune and gets tutoring in both "Rhetoric" and how to be "human"?

I mean, he is learning how to deal with his deficiencies right? I would assume, given Genma never got a Highschool GED, he'd want to get into college. Monster College...I think it was already said that Monsters just go to human universities...so...

There is bound to be a PHD in Monster-Human Relations somewhere for Tsukune and maybe a PE degree for Ranma.

Sorry for my flu fever riddled rambling thoughts.

Two things.

1) A "Masquarade class" is entirely too reasonable and sensible for the kind of faculty that BD is writing about, here.

2) No matter how he acts, Ranma is acting human, because he's a human. That's a tautology. It's not that he's doing it wrong, it's that the monster establishment is chauvinist against strong humans.

Eventually Martial Artist will be a technically human monster race like Witches and it'll be Ranma's fault.

I'm kind of expecting that as well.

I thought of that quite some time ago.

In fact, I thought of some random monster actually guessing this when asked about Ranma's species. Only to afterwards ruin it by going off on a conspiracy rant about the humans.

This is actually a plot element that will be explored later, when Ranma and Tsukune get back to school and I can go back to making fun of the classes/clubs.
There IS such a study group, but of course Ranma is convinced that he doesn't need any such lesson (see Gudman's explanation).
Although contrary to Daniel's first point, such a study group wouldn't necessarily be run by the faculty, and thus wouldn't necessarily be useless and/or deadly.

If the recycling of secondary characters starts back up, they might even be the ones the ex-enforcers decided NOT to threat-murder out of their clubroom last chapter.

It is indeed a reason to be concerned ...

I usually take that to mean BD is working on something other then BHoC. Which, while awesome, is something I'm happy about if we get another chapter of Millennium or Guardian.

Nope.
I just had nothing to say.
I've mostly been painting Warhammer models and playing Faster Than Light over and over and over and WHYWON'TITLETMEGETTHENEWSHIPSI'VEBEATENTHISGAMELIKETWENTYTIMESNOWGAAAUGH!

So, yeah, no I haven't been writing much.

So since you're just wasting time, are you going to finally read dresden files?

No, because as I already lied to you, I read them long ago!

Seriously, leave the man be. Dresden Files might be interesting, but it's not THAT good, and I'm counting myself a bookworm with relevant specialization here.

I'm getting a kind of "it's pathetic" feeling here. "I love X and I love BD so if I get BD to do X it will be awesome to the power!" Guess what? That's the "logic" yaoi fangirls use.

I think you just got me shipped with Harry Dresden.

Me, or Varth?
I pretty much only read Horus Heresy novels nowadays. Not because I just think they're that good (although Graham McNeil is a fantastic writer), but because I've really been getting deeper into Warhammer over the past few years.

Nah. If I had the time to read books, I'd spend it writing them instead.
