Next to last chapter.

The masquerade be well and truly borked now. Even moreso than before.

Mind games. Determination. More creepy Shinso-mutations on the part of Alucard.

Nice chapter.

Final aside from an epilogue.

Never liked the self-sacrifice plays. Really hope one particular thing happens in the epilogue, or this manga will have ended badly in my opinion.
However, someone did make a comment that puts much of the series in perspective. Tsukune was always attracted to a MILF. The whole damn time.

Y'know, knowing that Outer was, in fact, as she was, puts a whole new spin on the fact that everybody loved Akasha. It also makes me question if there's just something about Akasha Bloodriver that A) Provokes and creates Harems or b) causes the spontaneous generation of Badass around her.

Eh, Outer Moka sucked compared to Inner Moka. So long as Inner is around, its a good ending, if the last chapter was somewhat...I dunno, fast?

Looking forward to the epilogue.

This wasn't a new revelation. I pretty much started making jokes about Tsukune loving Moka's mother and not Moka herself in Blackdragon's Rosario/Ranma cross thread the whole time last year before the final battle even started.

I was wondering if there would be a Season 3, but I guess not.

Any bets that Moka and Tsukune's first daughter will look exactly like grandma Akasha?

The "but that's a story for another time" sounds like sequel material.

As does the whole setup where he's inheriting the Will of the previous Dark Lords.

Or the obvious Tsukune the Barbarian story we will all laugh hysterically at.

There's definitely going to be a sequel. The series was quite successful, and it's always easier to build on existing stuff rather than create something new for the next series.

Pretty much. I'm not sure it will revolve around the current crew, but I can see them appearing as teachers/important characters next time around, with a new harem/focus on a new main cast. So long as its not an obvious retread of the current plot.

Yes everyone loves Akasha: she shows up on Tv and there are people saying "God?"

Can I just say that, after this, I desperately want either the epilogue or something fan-made, where they acknowledge that, even if he seems to move on, Tsukune is still unhappy deep down because of the loss of his first love...and then it gets pointed out that said first love was Moka's mother.

Like, I just want someone to acknowledge that he fell in love with her mother. That, and the fact that the way she's talking just before the quadruple suicide seems like she loves him, too. Meaning Tsukune basically just NTR'd her away from Issa.

eh, Issa's clearly a punk, just look at what happened with his family! Wife becomes estranged, creates a doppelganger of him, and creates an army of monsters to conquer the world, mistress (who is the love of his life) is sealed inside her own daughter with amnesia, eldest daughter abandoned and raised as an assassin, next eldest is brainwashed and also raised as an assassin but by her own mother, next abandoned to live in the human world with no contact from the family after being sealed, and the youngest was just straight up ignored and belittled.

Not a happy family sirrah! :p

Hell, who's to say Akasha was Issa's only mistress? In fact, we pretty much know that to be true already. Akuha and Kahlua have next to no physical similarities, so there's evidence to suggest they are from different mothers.

Now, why are you guys wanting an epilogue of grimderp again?

I am somewhat curious now if Akasha's primary fetish was stealing her love interests... by which I mean she steals them from/ntrs other women not she cheats on them herself.

Akuha is stated to be Alucard's granddaughter, but that statement is never made about Kokoa or her sister, so it's likely they aren't.

Plus, the fact that Akuha wasn't living with Issa at first, when Kahlua and Kokoa and their mother was.

So, it's pretty much confirmed, even if not outright stated.

There's a part of me that still wanted Tsukune to just flat out tell Issa that he was in love with Issa's wife, and that he kind of won her over.

Upside, he now has a mentor in both fighting and polygamy now.

Uh...so does Tsukune have the okay to have a harem or is he gonna become so tough that he'll just say, "F%$k it. This is my harem. Try to take them from me."

...I said with a posed look.

Fusion-ha! I like that. It's kinda silly and a bit of an ass-pull, but I like that, makes me feel better about the whole ending thing.

Also, YAY! We finally get to hear who/what the Bus Driver is, and it explains quite a bit. It also makes a Nurarihyon no Mago cross something that is entertainingly plausible.

LOL, it went with the bullshit end.

We all know the truth deep inside that Tsukune was a cougar hunter all the way through. He is doing the Dennis Hoffman type role like in the movie The Graduate. Lusts for the mother and hitching his wagon to the daughter and being doomed to become be a generation xerox of her parents in the future.
