Would anyone be interested in playing an online RP with Star Wars Saga edition?

I've been playing a Saga edition game recently and with the games I'd been running having either ended or gone on hiatus for the time being, I wondered if anyone would like to try a game here.

If so the time period would probably be KotOR era.

How do you play this game? I have never done anything like this before.

Typically, we make a character, according to a standard template, and then we write up a post about them, usually a paragraph or so in length.

It's freeform or round-robin roleplaying.

Boring, imho, since there isn't a system.

Generally, it's expected that if you perform an action to another character (For example: "Han Solo drew his blaster pistol, and began to fire along the table at Darth Vader"), you leave the result open-ended, for the other player to finish (e.g. "Vader used the Force to deflect the blaster bolts, and then pulled the blaster out of Hans' hand").

If it's freeform/round-robin where everyone just pitches in to write what ends up being one massive story (much like the dead(ed) TFFA RPGs), I'll definitely consider it.

Because for all its flaws, that's awesome.

Structured, DnD style rping... that I've never tried. *shrugs*

Edit: Oh, just saw the link. *clicks*

I think I'll hang back and maybe join later if it looks interesting.

Yeah, I'm interested. But it has to have a story, not just a "let's fight."

5) What time period will it be? Clone Wars? Civil War? New Republic?

Well David, it looks like it is just you and me. Do you have a favorite era?

#22
FOr me, it's a toss up between the KOTOR-era, and (Naturally) the OT-era. I just love those snazzy Imperial Navy uniforms. The Stormtrooper armour? Not so much.

Either one sounds good. When is the OT era again? What does it stand for?

Wait this sounds interesting but more importantly, what time? Cause I'm at +1 GMT

;p

OT is the Original Trilogy: you know, Death Stars, X-Wings, credable acting, Han, Luke, Leia, Vader?

And I'm about GMT + 12.
