Actually, I take it back. Cartoon Network isn't showing Storm Hawks anymore, at least I don't see it on the schedule anymore.
But it *does* have lesbians. :yay:
For the observant people out there (and maybe even some of the not-so-observant) you can't help but notice the female protagonist's... interesting tendencies of being... overtly friendly to anyone with boobs.
But that's actually only the secondary reason I watch it. It has its cliche moments (a lot of them) because the targeted audience is ten year old boys but some of the characters (Stork, for instance) are amazingly well-rounded, funny, and make us actually concerned for what happens to them, and what their background story is. (damn Nerd Corps haven't made the "Origins" episode yet.... and when they do it'll probably shatter all my fanfictions to pieces.)
Plus, the fight scenes.
The kids have fucking flying motorbikes. FLYING MOTORBIKES.
Interesting character/creature/machine designs, a blend of Steam Punk Star Wars and Tolkien Fantasy, a cool No Sea Level "world of a thousand mountaintop kingdoms, each defended by a Sky Knight against the forces of Darkness" and a plethora of fanfiction possibilities make this my current obsession.
And I wish to share it with you all.
PEACE.
