How long has it been since this team was formed? A year already? It still feels strange not thinking of those two and Kakashi-sensei as my team. My Team Seven.
How long has it been since Team Seven was disbanded? Oh right, five years ago tomorrow. Though really it fell apart before that, that day was just the day it became impossible to reform.
Sasuke-kun swayed by darkness and revenge to OrochimaruÆs.
Naruto-kun pushing himself to the limitÆs with the perverted Sennin Jiraiya because of a promise to me.
Myself, attempting to learn what my new senseis could teach. But...
Then came the day Naruto was drawn into a trap by his enemies and murdered and with that any hope of saving the other teammate died. Yet I didnÆt care, my friend and teammate, the loudmouthed fool who always smiled and stuck by his word. My best friend, was murdered and nothing was going to bring him back.
And Sasuke, well he finally achieved his Ambition, but he never returned, not that the village would have accepted a traitor like him without someone like Naruto to use as a Scapegoat for his crimes.
Now, years after his death, I have finally tracked down the one responsible for the ultimate death of my first team, and I owe it all to my new students. The quiet little Aburame girl is something else, but not a genius, sheÆs to smart to accept such a presumptuous label.
Now, my students have drawn his attention, a trap is sprung, I drop the genjutsu and strike, My prey was a fool, overconfident, so caught up in his own legend that he fell for a simple trick by a team of genin. Heh that brings back some memories.
ôS-saku,ö Sasuke gurgled as he looked down at the Kunai lodged in his chest then up to the person who was still twisting it in further.
ôTraitor.ö I rip the Kunai from my prey and my team and I walk away. Team Seven and Naruto have been avenged by murdering the one who betrayed and murdered them.
