TFF Rising: Halloween Havoc

Sticking his fingers in his mouth, David whistled sharply. "Keitaro! Mutsumi! It's time for the last battle!" The Browning Hi-Power in his hand glowed golden as he clambered up onto the Keitaro/Mutsumi-dragon's back, and mutated into a Browning Automatic Rifle. "You guys coming or not?" He added to the crowd below him.

Nevermind. Was posting and didn't see the other posts ahead of mine.

When he saw what was going on, David sighed. "I really didn't want to have to do this...." he said, "But my hand has been forced..." He reached into his jacket, and withdrew a blue Biro and a notebook. The notebook made an ominous sound as he flicked through it, a quiet sound that still managed to drown out the sound of fighting. After a moment, he began to chant, power filling his being as he did.

"Su nekaew ro nehtgnerts yam hcihw taht swonk; stnemlia ruo seruc ohw eh nommus I! Raw fo syaw eht swonk tey, eceap fo htap eht sklaw ohw eh!

Doctor Tofu Ono!"

There was a crack of thunder and lightning, and there before them appeared Doctor Tofu. David jumped down and whispered hurriedly in his ear. For a moment, Tofu's glasses steamed up, but then a fierce battle aura erupted from around his body, and he nodded.

The two men rounded on Ryoko, and charged.

With White Len, she wasn't as straight forward a combatant as the normal Len. She relies on her illusions to trick her opponents since her normal attacks weren't as strong as her counterpart's.

Normally, when it came to opponents who could use illusions, Epsilon could simply churn out an algorithm to adjust his optics to find the real deal. But with his emotional attachment to the girl and his current system specs being five years out of date, it was no wonder he was having problems.

He slid backwards as another icicle scratched his cheek to draw some more blood. He could see the girl twirl towards him before a multitude of Lens filled his eyesight and he felt a hard kick to the chest. "OOF!!"

"It's no use trying to hack into them... your operating interface is currently obsolete and by the time you are actually able to upgrade... well, you get the idea," said Asakura in a matter of fact tone while using a quick attack to force Tofu and David to make a temporary retreat.

He slowly got up to his feet. "Although what you say is true, you probably aren't aware of the true nature of my code..." 'Kai.'

"What?"

He continued to speak as his body shifted into his insectoid form. His human form instantly became replaced with a taller green humanoid body with insectoid qualities. His limbs were thin and somewhat skeletal while his head was rather big with two eyes and no mouth except for a pair of golden antenna where the edges of human lips should be and a white streak of energy buzzing between both ends. "The entity known as Hawk scattered the original power of crack-fics into several pieces. One such piece fell into the hands of our all-knowing DITE and that was used to create my interface. Although they had tried to install a standard operating system, they could not access the core of my... crack code, to put it bluntly."

As Len charged in again, he held up his staff and shot out a purple energy discharge to temporarily freeze her.

"Over the course of this new adventure, I think I finally figured out how I can use that core code. My exposure to the MQCE also helped matters... I suppose I should give a thank you gift to those two dolls when I get the chance." A new string of code formed around the alien and started circling wildly.

Asakura wasn't sure what to make of this new development. "......?!"

"Well... here goes nothing. Execute Format Shift Program!" The code flared before the alien body vanished and was replaced with a metallic body of blue and red with golden decorations all over. His hands had golden claws attached to his fingernails and his knuckles that were ready to be unsheathed at his will. He had a blue metallic head with a white face mask covering the top part of his head just to above his mouth. His eyeholes were large enough to show off the green skin surrounding his red eyes.

"V-v-v...!"

"Virus, Asakura-san." That was when he thrust his left arm forward and a cable shot out from just under his palm to bury itself into the treacherous DITE interface.

"Commencing infection protocols..."

David clambered back onto his feet, and aimed the BAR at the DITE Agents. "Nobody move, or I get.... indiscriminate..." he said. "Now, we are going to hash this all out, once and for all. Otherwise the queen b**ch out there is gonna be on us like white on rice..."

Outside, Xaosite faltered as a dozen dice vanished. The GMF grinned and blasted him in the torso as he regained his momentum. "Oh, what's wrong? Your support from your little prayer group suddenly vanish?" she said in a sing-song tone.

Xaosite fixed her with a fierce glare. "I'm not too particular when someone tries to mess with me. I'm usually above it. But, when you screw with my followers, then you've gone and made me mad."

He sent wave after wave of dice at the GMF, knocking her back and off balance. Then he swooped forward, striking her multiple times with his staff. Zeni and Eterna took this opportunity to dive in and deliver simultainious strikes of their own, then they all moved back before the GMF could retaliate.

-------

Inside, Tohno had stopped her prayers, and instead began to cast spells.

"Hold in place, yourrr movements cease! Frrreeze on the spot, yourrr actions end!" She intoned, and Mohishi froze in place, unable to move any further.

Ryoko turned to her, confused. "How were you able to freeze her like that?"

"Because, when you stole herrr will, herrr will save went down, you fool! Hold Perrrson is a 2nd level clerrric spell, and uses a will save! You prrractically handed my success to me on a silverrr platterrr."

Pointing at Ryoko, she cast another spell. "The will of my lorrrd, burrrn away the impurrre, in a flash of searrring light!" And with that, a beam of pure, white hot light shot out at Ryoko. Hoisting her heavy mace high, she roared a challenge. "Get rrready bitch! I'm going to put the hurrrt down on you, forrr interrrferrring with my prrrayerrrs to Xaosite-sama!"

"Doc, you deal with the injured here. I'm getting late, for a very important date..." David said, clambering back onto the dragon's back. He held his BAR aloft, looking for all the world like a well-dressed Lone Ranger. "Let's roll!" The dragon rose, flapped it's mighty wings, and took off.

Doctor Tofu walked around, checking on the people. When he saw Kasumi, he felt his glasses fog up, despite his best efforts.

Swing. *Teleport*. Miss.

Swing. *Teleport*. Miss.

LL had never felt so upset. All pretenses of Xellos mimickery were gone, not even the smile remained as he repeated his most common technique to avoid the weapons that Shampoo was aiming at him.

She'd never be able to hit him, of course. Even if she were better able to predict where he was going to reappear, her martial arts finess was lost beyond her mindless attacking.

"Come on, Shampoo," he muttered softly, putting a bit of distance between them. "I'm really not up for dealing with something like this on top of everything else that's happened today!"

Shampoo howled, chucking her sword at him, and missing again by inches. LL's eyes trailed to his fading talismans. Judging by the amount of new cracks that had appeared in them since he started using them earlier, he made the assumption that he was down to about five really good spells left.

He'd have to make them count. First, taking care of Shampoo. As far as he could understand, she was under some sort of mind-control. If that were truly the case...

"FLOW BREAK!"

Shampoo's body suddered as an unseen power hit it, but it was brief before she brought her bonbori back up and struck again. Teleporting back to safety, LL tried again.

"KAIJU!" A white sheen passed over Shampoo's body, causing her eyes to lose focus. LL relaxed his body for a moment, but found himself avoiding another attack the next second. He frowned; if Flow Break and Kaiju wasn't going to break whatever hold she was under, it either meant that it was a continuous curse, it was too powerful for his level of magic to overcome, or it wasn't a real curse at all.

The Demon's Blood Talismans cracked again, leaving very little light left in them. There was only one thing left to try without resorting to actually hurting her.

"LAFAS SEED!" A rope of light appeared from his fingers, which flew out and wrapped itself tightly around the Amazon's body and dropping her to the ground. LL calmly approached the stuggling girl and placed a hand on her forehead.

"Meggido Flare," he whispered, sending a miniature version of the spell into her body. Instantly, the rage left her face, replaced by confusion.

"Airen?"

LL nodded reassuring, dragging his hands down the white ropes, severing them. "You rest here for a while," He stood up, looking off toward the real battle. "I'm gonna go end this."

"Wait, let Shampoo come!" she pleaded.

He shook his head. "Not this time, Shampoo. I don't want to sound like I think you're weak, but you won't stand a chance in this fight. He placed his hands firmly on her shoulders. "I've already lost out on one of the most important things in my life, I refuse to lose the other one."

Shampoo started to refuse, but realized it would be useless. Bowing her head, she whispered, "Airen come back, or Shampoo never forgive."

LL chuckled darkly as he walked away. Tragic farewells...God, another horrible cliche that he'd gone and made himself a part of. When this was all over with he was going to have to find a new laptop and mock the hell out of it.

Crossing his arms over his chest, he willed the last remaining magic power he had into his talismans, feeling them groan in protest, but brighten nonetheless.

I hope you're still watching, Xellos-sama, because there's a good chance I'll never be able to do this again.
----------

"I am sick and tired of you all defying me!" the GMF shrieked. "You can't win! Just accept it and stop wasting my time!"

"Oh please," Xaosite retorted, a ring of dice spinning around his hand. "You're having a hard enough time just fighting three of us."

A figure appeared next to him.

"And then there were four," Eterna amended for him.

LL huffed. "Don't know if you're all aware, but the buffers went haywire."

"I wondered what happened..." Xaosite grumbled.

"So even DITE is under your influence?" Zeni growled.

"And you will be next!" the GMF screamed, sending another energy blast at the group, causing them to scatter.

"Any bright ideas?" Eterna whispered.

"I have one," LL replied. "I've got one spell left that should do the trick, but my aim with it isn't the best. Any chance I could have you guys hold her down for me?"

The twins shared a look. "It'll take a few seconds, but..." Zeni turned to Xaosite. "Can you keep her distracted?"

"For as long as you need," the demi-god smirked.

"Just ten seconds should be plenty."

"Incoming," LL pointed out, and the group narrowly avoided another powerful blast. "Let's do it!"

The twins flew off as LL held a single finger above his head, muttering an incantation as quickly as possible. Meanwhile, Xaosite moved forward, sending a giant 100-sided die at the GMF, which split into a swarm of one hundred smaller dice and encircled her, pelting her one after the other from all sides. The GMF roared in fury, throwing blast after blast at the storm of dice.

The twins landed on either side of the GMF, raising their hands.

"BLOOD FORTRESS OMEGA!"

"NO!" the GMF raged as the strength-sapping field appeared around her. "NO NO NONONONO!" Black energy spouted enveloped her body and tried to burst its way out of the force field.

"I don't think it's gonna hold, sis!" Eterna shouted.

"Hurry it up, LL!"

"Got it!" LL grinned as he reached the end of his spell and a white light appeared at the tip of his finger. Swinging his hand around in an arc, the light streamed forward like a ribbon toward the GMF. "ZELAS BRID!"

The line of light split the Blood Fortress through the middle, and a scream of pain rang out. The field exploded in a blast of black flame, blowing the twins backward.

With a final crack, the Demon's Blood Talismans shattered, and LL fell to his knees, breathing raggedly. The other three watched on at the smoke and flames that shrouded the area where the GMF had been. All of them were thinking the same thing, but LL was the one to sum it up.

"Aw fuck, the cloud of smoke cliche."

Four beams of black energy shot out, catching all four TFFers dead-on. Xaosite and the twins, being as close to immortal as you could get, were knocked to the ground with some fairly bad burns.

LL, however, wasn't so durable. His whole body was incinerated before the pain even registered.

The smoke cleared, and the GMF floated off the ground, the bottom half of her body sliced clean off, with more flicks of black light pouring from the wound. She grinned sinisterly.

"And then there were three...again."

OoC: Hope this doesn't mess anything up to badly. And I kinda killed myself off for a while, but you can bring me back if I'm really needed for some reason. Just use that Auto-Resurrection skill of mine that 'might not be real'. ^_^

A mighty explosion blasted a hole in the wall, and David rode in. "Enter the dragon!" he shouted, sliding of and training the Browning on the GMF. "Okay, toots," he said, with an appalling imitation of a "1920's Chicago Gangster" accent, "Ya got ten seconds to persuade me not ta plug ya right between those cute lil' baby blue-eyes." he waved his hand behind him, and the dragon split back into Keitaro and Mutsumi.

OOC: My earlier post didn't seem to make sense given these last ones, so I figured I'd just move it. Edited for continuity as well (I hope...)

Janus heaved himself out of the wall the Grandmaster Fangirl had thrown him into, dismissing his pain as he contemplated the situation.

A small part of him wondered if they could really win this; Janus knew his all too human body, even reinforced by the magics of the fusion, would not stand much more of this battering. He drew a deep breath, raised his runeblade, and began channeling all the power he had left into the sword.

"It is time, Azurewrath. This will be our final battle. We hold nothing back! Tripudio Sanctus Vesica!"

The sword shot out beams of with a brilliant white light, drawing an intricate seal on the ground. Janus stabbed the Azurewrath into very center of this symbol, then simply disappeared. A few seconds later however, SEVEN angels reappeared, all wielding identical swords.

This was the ultimate technique of the True Path, the Dance of the Sacred Blade. It created six tangible copies of the user that could still deal damage; though they were only about half as strong as the original, and couldn't take very much damage, it was a deadly ability that allowed an Avatar to deal an insane amount of damage extremely quickly.

All seven angels charged straight at the Grandmaster Fangirl, runeblades flaring with power, and a battle cry rising from their lips:

"For those who sacrificed themselves to defend this world, we call upon the cleansing light of the True Path! To battle!"

Xaosite held a hand out, making a strange gesture with it. The ashes of LL collected and flowed towards him, coming to collect in a bag he held in his other hand.

Eterna asked, "Is he really...?"

"If he were any deader, he'd be a zombie. He went straight from alive to cremation. Stick a fork in him, he's done."

"Ok, I get it."

He continued on, adopting an obnoxious british accent. "This LL is no more! He has ceased to be! 'E's expired and gone to meet 'is maker! 'E's a stiff! Bereft of life, 'e rests in peace! If you hadn't turned 'im to ashes 'e'd be pushing up the daisies! 'Is metabolic processes are now 'istory! 'E's off the twig! 'E's kicked the bucket, 'e's shuffled off 'is mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisibile!! THIS IS AN EX-LL!!"

"Are you quite finished yet? Was that really necessary?"

"Yes. But in all seriousness, I can't just use a raise dead spell. It requires that I have a corpse. A resurrection spell would work, but it takes ten minutes to cast, so I can't fix this problem until later."

"Who says you're going to get a later?" The GMF shouted out, her torso floating in place. She wobbled a bit, trying to find her center of balance now that she lacked legs.

He put a finger to his lips. "Shhh, the adults are talking right now."

"AAARGH! How dare you ignore me! How dare you dismiss me as if I were..."

"A small child throwing a temper tantrum?" He supplied.

"You... You... YOUUUUUUUUU!!!" With that, the GMF sent a huge shockwave at Xaosite. The air crackled with it's immence power as it tore through the air. He tossed the bag of LL's ashes to Zeni, then braced both arms in front of him. A wall of dice formed in front of him, mostly funneling the blast to the sides. Still, bits of it broke through, though not enough to do any serious damage.

The GMF, on the other hand, spun wildly in place, the backlash of her attack spinning her like a top since she no longer was able to brace herself.

"WHHHHAAAAHHHHAAAAHHHHAAAA!" She screamed out, growing very dizzy and nauseous. Xaosite grinned, and sent a huge d100 back at the GMF. It stuck her in the shoulder, and she span just as quickly, but in the other direction, as well as head over... lower torso.

"AARRRGGHHH... Ooog. Urp. Urk. Ooooooooohhh." She screamed and moaned.

Xaosite couldn't help himself, and began laughing. While he laughed, seven Januses charged in, glowing swords striking the GMF with great force. David said "Ding! Time's up!" and with Keitaro and Mutsumi let fly with their particular brands of pain and damage. Before it was all over, Xaosite cast a spell to keep the winds blowing fiercely, to prevent any obscuring clouds of smoke from forming.

Raising the BAR to his shoulder, David shut one eye, sighted on the spinning GMF, and opened fire. The BAR, set on 'slow-auto' to improve accuracy, chugged out the 20 rounds of .30 cal noisily. David ducked behind some rubble to reload his magazine. Briefly, he wondered how Doc Tofu was handling himself against the enraged Kasumi Tendo...

With the indispensible help of Yuki, she and Solarman and I all landed safely upon the rising Bahomet. Irritably, with flecks of foam forming in my mouth, I grumbled to Yuki, "Where the hell are we going?"

"To the yaoi side of this ... continuity error in the fabric of reality."

Solarman chuckled a bit at this, spraying me with a few flecks of his own foam-at-the-mouth. I didn't care - I was in too much mentally-induced physical anguish to even notice.

As we approached the top, we all noticed our sense of gravity flip 180 degrees. Falling up toward the ceiling is a rather scary experience, let me tell you - especially when you fear that Bahomet is falling up, directly underneath you (fortunately, it disappeared before it landed on the entire crew, that's a blessing).

Rising slowly and dusting myself off, a sinister stare made me freeze on the spot.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite escaped experiment," the clown mocked. "I'll have to remove your spinal cord so you don't run away anymore."

Damn it, this guy just doesn't quit with the experimenting on living things, does he?

"I'll love to get inside you," MaYuri taunted me. "Still, I want to understnad what makes that work," he pointed at Yuki.

"What about the third guy, Yuri-taicho? Shall I dispose of him at my leisure?" Chizuru chimed, with a glimmer in her eye, as she pulled a collar out from her back pockets, even though the colloar was bigger than her pockets...

Shocked and reviled, "Solarman" dropped his guise to protect his own well-being. The being with us was ... actually the renowned priest Xellos.

*Sorry, but :headbanger: I need to wake up in 3 hours. I'm gonna leave off the end (just for now). Somebody please finish writing what I desribed. I have to catch a flight in three hours.

As Sazuka began her assault on Nikolaus, he calmly pulled out a small vial of a glowing green liquid and stared into its depths as if contemplating. As her blade approached he downed the contents of the vial and stopped, allowing the attack to slice through the front part of his neck, severing the blood flow to his brain.

As he fell to the floor, Ryoko, even in her agony showed some twisted delight at seeing one of them fall. Suzuka's face was twisted in agony, even through her mind control, though, it quickly faded away to the blank face of a puppet as she turned away to help Ryoko.

This would have put some people into a bad position, however, her progress was stopped by a hand grabbing her ankle and pulling back. As she fell, Suzuka attempted to turn to attack the one who was grabbing at her only for her to see the smiling face of Nikolaus, though it seemed a bit ashen, even by his standards.

"That hurt you know? It really did," Nikolaus said as he got up. "Damn, is there any... manual shut off switch to the mind control?"

"A manual shut off switch?" Epsilon repeated, while still uploading a virus into Ryoko. "Just where the hell would you put a shut off switch?"

"You tell me, besides, there is always a shut off switch." Nikolaus asked.

"You don't put a shut off switch on to a living being, what the hell were you thinking, and how the hell are you even walking around?" Epsilon said, while moving his head to the side to dodge a rather weak attack from Ryoko.

"Wait, they aren't androids? I figured since they have that kind of protcol they were some kind of killer androids disguised as humans." Nikolaus said, looking kind of sad at the fact that he wasn't facing off against androids. "Oh, well that vial of stuff is turns people into very powerful zombies if it is in their system when they die.... it also completely revives them after an amount of time, if certain conditions are met..."

"You just won't die will you?" Locke asked, still slightly angry at the half ton of dynamite thing. Also slightly angry that he was now being forced to dodge Suzuka's strikes. "I mean come on, a potion to save your skin, and besides why the hell didn't you give those to the rest of us?"

Nikolaus, now fully aware that Suzuka was no longer next to him, and was currently trying to kill someone decided to jump into the fray. The fact that he jumped into the middle of the fray meant that within two seconds, he had lost his arm. It also meant that he took everyone else by surprise, and so was met with little resistance when he slammed his head into Suzuka's.

"The reason I didn't give them out is because they don't generally work for other people...they get to the undead stage, and stop there. Plus, the 'rebirth' stage puts those under it's affects out of commission for months on end, besides, I have about an hour left before that portion of it's affects kicks in..." Nikolaus explained as he collected his arm. "So......no manual shut off switch, eh?"

"NO!"

(OoC: I hope I didn't make my character to powerful with the whole cheating death thing, and I kinda forgot all who was there in that area, so...yeah)

Despite his best efforts, Doctor Tofu slid into the madness that always effected him whenever he saw Kasumi. With his glasses fogged over, he began giggling like a maniac, and began to dance chaotically, passing from person to person like a cheap bottle of wine. No one was spared his attention, as his mind was clouded by Kasumi...

OOC: the FFVII Crisis Core battle theme for this scene.

"This has gone on long enough..." The Grand Master muttered, regaining her balance in mid-air as the group cornered her on a flat expanse of ground higher up the spire. "Enough games. Now you shall witness the very power that built your homeworld used against you." She said as the crack fic energy crackled and surged around her as she gathered crack fic energy into her lower torso which twisted and crawled downwards, forming the shape of a pair of legs.

"I'm sad to say that your friend's sacrifice was for naught." She said, as her legs touched the ground once more.

"LL..." Zeni grasped the bag containing his ashes tightly in one hand. "A true Mazoku needs no words." She said, as a spiral of crack fic energy spiralled out of the ground before her. "For his actions speak for him." She finished, upending the bag and pouring the ashes into the growing spiral of crack fic energy.

"Z-Zeni! I can't ressurect him without those ashes!" Xaosite shouted in shock.

"Who says he needs resurrecting?" Zeni asked, watching as the spiral of crack fic energy absorbed the ashes before turning a deep black, not an absence of colour, but, rather, an absence of light, as it exploded upwards into a full-blown tornado...

....before vanishing...

"Well, can we get back to the custard?" David asked, looking from Zeni to Xaosite.

"I shall show you all the meaning of despair..." The Grand Master said, pulling a huge silver and gold claymore out of mid-air.

"Bring it!" Zeni shouted, leaping forwards, spinning her double-ended blade around, building up momentum as she charged towards the Grand Master. She pulled her blade out of the centrifuge and brought it down hard on the Grand Master who raised her own blade to counter. Sparks exploded in the gloom as the cold steel clashed upon cold steel.

The two crossed swords, dancing back and forth, steel whirling and clashing in clouds of sparks, before, with an almighty swing, the Grand Master sent Zeni flying backwards across the platform.

Zeni flipped in mid-air and skid to a halt, kneeling. Eterna leapt over her, both katanas blazing, not giving the Grand Master any time to recover as she began a second barrage of attacks.

"Awake..." Zeni whispered, whipping one arm through the air. "FATE!" She shouted, a tri-barrelled gun materializing out of thin air in her hand as she completed the arch. "CERBERUS!" She shouted once more, swinging her other hand through the air as a second tri-barrelled gun materialized in it.

With yet another almighty slash, the Grand Master sent Eterna flying up into the sky, just as David leapt out from behind his cover and unloaded yet another magazine's worth of bullets from his BAR.

"Eterna, catch!" Zeni shouted as she leapt forwards while tossing Fate into the air. The Grand Master, meanwhile, was deflecting David's bullets while pacing slowly towards him.

"Thanks!" Eterna shouted back, spinning in mid-air and catching the gun neatly before kicking off the tower wall and launching herself towards the Grand Master.

"Crimson Moon, guide my bullet..." Zeni whispered to herself as she raised her gun towards the Grand Master. "Strike true, CERBERUS!" Zeni shouted as she pulled the trigger.

"Rain death, FATE!" Eterna shouted as she sailed above. Together, they showered the Grand Master with a barrage of magical bullets.

The Grand Master's eyes flashed a pale yellow as she pulled a second claymore out of thin air and started to deflect the bullets with great accuracy.

Eterna landed neatly, a short distance away from the Grand Master, just as Zeni rounded around so that she stood opposite Eterna with the Grand Master in between them.

"You think your peashooters will have a chance against me?!" The Grand Master laughed as she swung her twin claymores into a fighting stance.

"There's a reason why Crimson Moon Executioners come in pairs." Zeni said, charging manna into her gun.

"Yeah, and there's a reason why they're made as twins." Eterna added, doing the same.

"CHRONO TRIGGER!" The twins shouted together as they dissappeared into thin air.

OOC: Sorry, I can't pass that name up :p

Suddenly, the air was ablaze with magic bullets coming in from all directions as the sound of 6 identical gun barrels roaring almost continuously filled the air. The Grand Master merely smirked as she let go of her claymores, charged more crack fic energy into her hands, before her hands started moving at an incredibly insane speed.

As the Claymores clattered to the ground, the Grand Master's arms stopped moving as she opened up her fists, letting hundreds of bullets fall. Her eyes flashed once more as they gained enough speed to see the twins spin around her.

"Eh...?" The twins gaped, before the Grand Master's hands found their throats. "Ulp...WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" They screamed as the Grand Master spun them round and round before throwing them into opposite walls.

"HEAD'S UP!" A voice shouted from above. The Grand Master spun around and looked up just in time to see David's smiling face atop the dragon just before it dissappeared behind the dragon's open snout.

The Grand Master raised a palm towards the dragon and sent out a shockwave so powerful that it stopped the dragon completely in mid-air. The Dragon roared with fury as it unleashed a stream of fiery hot flames straight towards the GMF....who merely sent out another shockwave which dissipated the flames.

"I'm happy we see eye to eye here..." David's smile was the only thing visible as his silhoutte in the flames sailed over the Grand Master. The GMF couldn't help blink as she looked up into the half-insane eyes of the time agent as he aimed his BAR straight into her face. "Let's see you catch these." He smirked, before he unloaded at least two dozen or so bullets in the GMF's face.

He rolled out of his landing and started running sideways, reloading his gun as he trained his sights back on the GMF who was holding one shaking hand up to her smoking face. "H-HOW DARE YOU?!" She shrieked, raising a cracke-energy charged palm straight at David. "DIE!"

"Next time, make sure we're dead first before you look elsewhere!" A voice shouted as the ground underneath the GMF glowed as a magical circle materialized just before it exploded into a giant crystal icicle. Eterna clicked a finger, causing the crystal to shatter and explode.

"Sure, I'll do that." The GMF chuckled, brushing off the bits of diamond dust of her dress as Eterna ran straight for her, katanas raised.

"Janus! I'm going to need your help on this one!" Zeni shouted, driving her blade into the ground and clapping her hands together, forming a glowing ball of manna in both palms. "Keep her busy for me!"

"We are the blood of the Crimson Moon...." Zeni began to chant.

"Darkness is our path, and death is our virtue..." Eterna continued, as she crossed blades with the GMF.

"Forth Azurewrath!" The seven Januses attacked from all directions, just as Eterna got blown away by a powerful crack-energy shockwave from the Grand Master. The Grand Master gritted her teeth as she clashed blades with all 7 Januses simultaneously.

She spun around, slashing away one Janus, before blasting away another Janus with a well-aimed crack blast. She turned around just in time to counter an overhead slash from another Janus who came in sailing through the air from behind. She recoiled slightly under the strength of the blow, before she leapt off into the air and threw Janus backwards, further up into the sky. There they crossed swords once more as three more Januses flew up to join the fray.

The Grand Master charged up a whirlwind of crack energy and whirled around, throwing the Januses around backwards. However, she didn't notice one Janus who was hovering above her, Azurewrath aimed downwards at her. "PATH OF THE TRUE LIGHT! SMITE THE DARKNESS!" He shouted, as a ray of light lanced down and crashed straight into the Grand Master, sending her crashing into the ground.

"This one's yours, Eterna!" Zeni shouted, holding out one manna charged hand to Eterna who was flying backwards towards her. "We have fought over a thousand battles." She continued chanting.

"Thanks, Sis." Eterna shouted back, grabbing the hand and accepting the ball of manna as Zeni swung her around and back at the Grand Master. "Unknown to hatred, nor known to love." Eterna continued Zeni's chant.

"Many times have we withstood pain to blaze through darkness." Zeni raised the other manna charged palm up into the rain before balling it into a fist and slamming it into the ground. Bluish white glowing pattern-like cracks split through the ground straight for the Grand Master, right under Eterna who was flying towards her.

"Huh, is that the best you can..." The Grand Master began as she got to her feet. Her sentence trailed off as she noticed Eterna flying towards her, with Zeni charging up a spell right behind her. She raised up her blade in defense in preparation for the attack.

"And yet, those hands that have braved so much will never hold anything" Eterna continued on chanting.

"SO AS WE PRAY..." The twins raised their voice together.

"UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS DUO....FIRST DANCE!" Zeni shouted, as hundreds of blades of all sizes and shapes burst out of the cracks in the ground, straight at the Grand Master, all glowing a pale white glow before they exploded upon blasting into her blade, driving her backwards, before her defense faltered and the blades exploded in her face.

"UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS DUO...SECOND DANCE!" Eterna shouted, doing a barrel role in midair, forming a bluish white halo with her ball of manna. The halo crystalized and shattered, giving away into a hundred more blades that flew in a circle formation around her. She flew right up to the Grand Master, pulled two blades out of the halo of blades, and slashed straight through her. The blades immediately disintegrated into plasma-like light, but left deep burning gashes in the Grand Master's Body. Eterna pulled more blades out, repeated, pulled even more blades out, repeated, all the time picking up speed with her slashes.

"Xaosite, David, don't give her time to recover! It's your turn next!" Zeni shouted as she leapt up into the air, a golden glow now enveloping her.

"Alley-ooop!" Eterna shouted, pulling the last blade out of her halo and slashing upwards, blasting the now limp Grand Master up into the air, straight into Zeni's flight path.

"UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS DUO...THIRD DANCE - OMNISLASH!" Zeni and Eterna both shout as Eterna flew up towards the now airborne Grand Master just as Zeni arrives. The air around them shimmered and cracked, giving away to an alternate dimension, filled with giant clockwork gears, steam, and dust. All around them, thousands upon thousands of blades hovered in the air, waiting to be used.

Zeni grabbed a pair of blades as she flew towards the Grand Master, her golden glow growing brighter as she slashed through the Grand Master and flew straight through her. Eterna did the same as she flew upwards and slashed upwards through the Grand Master. Zeni spun around, grabbed another pair of blades, and repeated her attack run, alternating attack runs with Eterna. This went on for what seemed like at least 10 minutes.

As the last of the thousands upon thousands of blades slashed through the Grand Master's body, the alternated dimension cracked and shattered, giving way to the dark stormy tower once more.

Zeni and Eterna landed in a kneeling position as their respective blades fell and drove themselves into the ground beside them, before the Grand Master crashed into the ground behind them.

"Xaosite, David, your turn!" Zeni and Eterna shouted almost simultaneously.

"Actually....I think it's our turn!" I yell finally deciding to get back into the fight again. I yell out drawing my scythe and lengthening the blade.

"So you decided to stop fooling around and do something for once?" Motoko snidely remarks getting her sword ready.

"Ya ya let's just do this all ready..on the count of three. One....two..." I say before charging at the GMF with Motoko right beside me.

The grandmaster fangirl was smirking until I cut deep and diagonally to the right, while at the same time Motoko cut's deep and diagonally basically carving an x into the bitch.

Not even giving the GMF any time to spare Zeni fired her Cerberus straight into the GMF causing at least three explosions in the the enemy's face, chest, and legs.

Xaosite, after seeing the GMF regenerate her legs, had groaned inside his head. "I was really hoping I wouldn't have to do this. I am gonna feel this one later, and I ain't gonna like it one bit, neither." With that said, he clasped his hands together, a golden d20 forming within as he concentrated almost every bit of spell power he could muster into it. When he finished, he held up his right hand, the die glowing blindingly bright, flashing and rumbling as if it were about to explode. He grabbed his right wrist with his left hand as the die shook violently.

He stared down at his creation apprehensively. "Man oh man. What the hell am I thinking anyways? I'm a freaking moron! At least LL didn't cremate himself!"

Staring at the rather impressive set of attacks the twins unleashed, he stood, waiting for his opportunity to attack. Calling out to David, "I'm going to charge in when I get the chance! When I do, you guys all need to get the hell away!"

David shouted back, "Why? What's going to happen?"

"To be honest, I don't know! But I'm certain that it's not something you want to be near!"

"That's just great!"

When the GMF slammed into the ground, Xaosite knew that the time was now. This was without a doubt the stupidest thing he could do. The smartest, of course, would be to run the hell away. Still, he couldn't help himself. He smirked, then chuckled, then began to howl with laughter, charging forward straight at her, holding the die in his right hand in front of him. "HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!! From the heart of hell, I stab at thee! HAHHHAAAA!"

David, riding atop his dragon, swooped forward to gather up all the other members of the party while Xaosite charged. Pulling them onboard, he then turned back and ran.

The GMF, regaining her footing, looked up just in time to see Xaosite charge right at her, maniacal grin on his face. She smirked and raised her hand, catching Xaosite's and his die. "Was that it?"

Xaosite's grin remained, and all went suddenly silent. All except for the sound if the die, caught between their hands, shattering. He answered, "Retributive strike." Then they were consumed in an explosion of great intensity, as all of the spell energy contained in the die was released all at once with the force of a nuke.

The explosion was made of pure magical arcane energy, full of chaos and power. Fire, water, air, earth, light, shadow, life, death. It burned, froze, cut, crushed, blasted, drained, created, destroyed. As the two within were being annihilated, Xaosite remained grinning at the GMF. Holding up his left fist, he opened it up to reveal two d20s. One showed a 1, the other a 20. "After all, I used ALMOST all of my power for this. The rest was these. Enjoy, and goodbye!" With that, the 1 flew into the GMF, the other vanished in his hand. Then he was blown away by the explosion, launched free from it's destructive forces.

The GMF, now trapped within the blast, was forced to take the full brunt of it's power. She attempted to draw on the crack fic energy to escape, but every time she was about to, it slipped from her grasp, as Xaosite's failed saving throw took effect. Already severly wounded by all of the previous attacks by the TFF force, she didn't have much left to begin with. Plus, even while in the explosion, she could feel more attacks from the outside hitting her. By the time it ended, she only had enough left in order to run, to escape the TFF and return from whence she came.

Xaosite, while he had been blown clear, was only slightly better off than the GMF. His entire right arm was gone. Half of the various 'pieces' that made up his body were simply gone, leaving him full of holes not unlike swiss cheese. What remained was covered in wounds of all sorts, shapes, and sizes. Out of power, out of spells, out of hit points, he faded into unconsciousness just as he felt something catch him.

To add fuel to the fire, David blasted away with his BAR, while behind him, the reloaded bazooka fell over from the wall with a clatter, sending a rocket straight into the chaos that surrounded the GMF.

"Oh yeah! 'All your base are belong to us' now, bitch!" David roared.

(OOC: Time is 4:59 am in the RPG)

"HA! I may be down but I'm not completely out of it yet!" yelled the GMF as she emerged once again and began to regenerate the parts blown off by the combined assault of David's rocket and Xellos' dice explosions.

"Damnit! OUT OF AMMO, GUYS!" yelled the no longer gun packing aussie, before he was caught into a furious torrent of power from the GMF.

"That was our best attack... now what can we do?" asked Mick, as he tried to calculate another attack quickly.

"There is nothing you can do... I AM INVINCIBLE!" said the GMF before cackling wildly.

*BONG!*

The GMF stopped cackling as the thunder roared even louder and the temperature of the outside seemed to drop even further.

*BONG!*

Slowly, a thick fog began to emerge from the horizon, creating an even more eerie feeling. Both Zeni and Eterna gasped in shock as to how this came to be. However, a low, soft organ chord began to increase in volume.

*BONG!*

A chorus, made of 100 strong and filled with both forced yaoi and faithful TFF began singing a chant... a chant that would make even the strongest of fighters shiver if only briefly.

*BONG!*

A shadowy figure began to walk amongst the fog, slowly, methodically as a phantom orchestra began to crescendo with the Organ.

*BONG!*

The combined musicians reached their loudest point, creating an even more fear-inspiring atmosphere.

Finally, a flash of lightning filled the area as I am revealed in my black leather tunic and tights form, finally ready to do battle with the GMF. At the same time, the organ and orchestra began playing the classic funeral dirge as I walked slowly, without blinking nor showing emotion. My hair as black as the midnight sky, my eyes as cold as the death that awaits.

Slowly, the GMF turns and laughs as I continue waking toward the fight. Zeni looks at me with an antiscipation and a renewed sense of fight. Eterna just watched before I stopped in front of them and turned toward the duo.

I extend my hand to Zeni, who lightly take my hand before I stand her onto her feet. Gazing into her eyes, I closed the distance slowly until I placed my hand on her back and bent her backwards before our lips met in an affectionate kiss. Eterna looked on in distain, possibly due to not having a person of her own, or possibly due to there actually being heterosexual kissing going on right in front of her.

The kiss seemed to last for hours before we parted, in reality it was nearly a minute. I lowered my face toward her ear. "You have fought well, now I must finish her. Do not worry, my queen of the night. There shall be no peace for her tortured soul," I whisper into her right ear before grazing her cheek with another light kiss, sending a shiver down her spine.

Finally, I stand Zeni back up before turning to face the GMF with my head hung low before slowly lifting my head, and showing her the TRUE face of death. My eyes rolled into the back of my head as the thunder rolled as loud as ever. Today would be the day that this tortured soul would Rest... in.... peace...

(OOC: You wanted to challenge me, Eterna? YOU GOT IT!)

Very, very quietly, David slid down out of sight. He pulled his hat as far down over his eyes as he could, stuffed his fingers in his ears, and began to pray; his knowledge of it was rusty, and he stumbled a few times. No doubt about it, he was very rattled.

"Eww...cooties." I say aloud in response to Zeni's and U1's moment. I notice the survivors glaring in my direction.

"What..what the hell's everybody's problem?" I mutter aloud.

Motoko only glares at me in response before hitting me in the back of the head.

"Ow! Damn it!" I yell out rather annoyed. I mean come on...there's a time and place for this. Your not supposed to be doing this in public...yech.

Whatever let's just get this over with..then I can finally rest and get the hell out of this crazy place once and for all.

Epsilon

The Grand Master Fangirl carefully considered her options as the being known as Unknown took a few casual steps towards her with a fireball charging up in each hand. Even with her speedy regeneration rate, she figured that she had bitten off more than she could chew this time around.

...... what, you're shocked she's actually somewhat intelligent? Well, she did reign over the Fangirl realm for a while and that does require some degree of intelligence. And let's not mention that her little brother is a mecha otaku (which eventually led her into watching a few Gundam eps themselves and picking up a few military tactics in between ogling the bishounen and thinking of yaoi scenarios).

The best thing to do for now would be to retreat long enough until she could master this new crack-energy and then have vengeance on those twins and their comrades. Seriously, that Unlimited Blade Works Duo dancing of theirs HURT!!

However, when she tried to open up a gateway to escape back to familiar territory, she noticed that nothing had happened. Something was jamming her signal.

Was it that Unknown character? Doubtful. He didn't have that type of power.

That was when she saw a familiar figure emerge from behind the group. "Asakura-san, I require your assistance!"

The girl's face was hidden by her long blue bangs while her school outfit was rather torn up with some bleeding.

"Asakura-san!!"

That was when she looked up and the Grand Master Fangirl was startled to see a blank look in her eyes along with an empty smile. Strange red veins were pulsing from her forehead. "I'm sorry but Asakura Ryoko is not available at this time. Please try again later."

"INFECTION?! Impossible!! With the DITE's anti-virus protocols and my additional security upgrades that I gave her, there's no way-" She paused in her rant just in time to dodge a clawed strike from a black and red figure.

"Che... missed."

The head structure looked familiar to Zeni and it wasn't until she noticed the familiar staff strapped to the large being's back that it clicked together. "Epsilon?"

"Hey, you didn't need to barge in!" complained Unknown before he tossed the fireballs at the GMF who used her own counterspell to neutralize the threat.

"............"

"Dammit... now you really ruined the whole mood that I set up! With that romantic smooch and all-"

"Don't get in my way if you want to live." Golden claws extended from the alien's knuckles before he dove in the fight.

"What the hell is that supposed to-URK!!" Unknown found himself in a rather uncomfortable headlock and looked up to see a rather dark glint in Eterna's eyes, which promised a painful beatdown for stealing a kiss from her sibling.

"Just what happened to him?" whispered Zeni in a low tone.

"I t-think I know..." She looked down in surprise at the fallen God of Dice that she had caught a bit earlier.

"You're up already?!"

"Heh... can't sleep with all this racket. In a-any case, that guy you mentioned isn't looking too good. Mentally that is..."

He did seem off... far more vicious, as can be observed by the attack pressure he exerted on the Grand Master, than the usual reserved and polite DITE male interface that she had known before.

"H-he's practically failing all of his insanity rolls," wheezed Xaocite.

"...... in English, for those of us that don't play D&D?"

"More and more of his usual personality is being replaced by the instinct of whatever form he's currently in. W-what is he anyway?"

"A virus. His format... to corrupt and conquer. His predatory instincts will soon get the better of him and he will be unable to distinguish between friend and foe."

"...... that's bad, right?"

Zeni rolled her eyes. "Well, duh."

The GMF barely avoided another clawed slash from the murderous Epsilon-virus. She couldn't even find a decent chance to counter-attack.

"XELLOS!" she bellowed, backpedalling even faster. "I need your help!"

The TFFers, nix Epsilon who didn't slow down for a second, glanced around for a sign of the purple-haired trickster. Nothing came.

"Damn you Xellos!" she screamed again. "GET OFF YOUR LAZY ASS AND HELP ME!"

From out of nowhere, a sheet of paper hit the GMF in the face, throwing her off-balance and allowing Epsilon to slash her across the stomach. Howling in pain, she threw an energy bolt which knocked him back several feet. Using the precious few seconds to pull the paper off, her eyes glanced over the words written on it.

"Sorry, lost bet with... Bet with that COPYCAT!? I already killed him! That bet shoudn't even be valid anymore!" Her eyes blazed as black flames engulfed the paper in her clenched fist. "Now get out here or so help me I'll make you the UKE of so many stories-!"

"Well, can't have that."

Breathing a sigh of relief, the GMF turned and came face to face with-

Not Xellos.

"Y-y-you?" she stammered. "Bu-but you're... I kil...WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE?!"

LL held a finger to his lips. "Sore...well, you know. Suffice it to say, the next time you burn somebody's entire body to ashes, you'd better make sure they're dead."

The GMF's body began to convulse fiercely as her breathing became ragged. "I...HATE...YOU! I HATE ALL OF YOU! I HATE THIS ENTIRE DISGUSTING WORLD! I WANT YOU ALL TO DIE! I WANT YOU ALL TO STAY. THE. FUCK. DEAD!!!11!one!eleven!1 HAAAAAAAATE!!"

"Sounds like she's really lost it now," Unknown muttered.

"You're not Kefka, damnit!" David shouted to her. "Quit trying so hard!"

LL snapped his fingers in front of her face, making her focus attention back on him. Then he pointed behind her again. "You're about to get hurt," he informed her before teleporting to safety.

The next instant the Grandmaster was being assaulted by bullets, energy blasts, flames, and a still rampaging Epsilon among other things. As she faltered under the overwhelming attack, LL reappeared amongst the group.

"Welcome back," Zeni greeted as she threw another spell.

Xaosite looked the mazoku-reject up and down, frowning. "I'm not even gonna bother asking how you did it."

"That's for the best, because I have no idea."

"So you can resurrect yourself then, huh?" Eterna asked.

"So it would seem," he said with a small shrug.

"You know what that means?" Zeni asked.

"That my brothers weren't nearly as big of assholes as I thought they were?"

"That...and also that now I can get paybacks on you for stabbing me earlier without feeling guilty afterward."

LL sweatdropped, chuckling nervously. "Well, I'm completely useless in this fight now, so I'm just gonna...go over there...away from you." And with that, he teleported away from the general danger zone.
