TFF Shouldn't Die!!!

I just joined this place, and it's pretty clear to see that TFF is almost dead, and has lost a lot of its older, more active members. That's not good.
To hopefully bring in a breath of fresh air, and help keep bringing up the quality of fanfiction, I'd like to suggest linking TFF to all of your fanfiction profiles, and give a basic description of it. I'll be taking this course of action, personally, but I haven't published much fanfiction anywhere big, and my help won't do much of anything right now. If you want to keep TFF alive, let's try this, y'all!!!

I was able to get into the discord server twice so far... but quite frankly I saw nothing of real note or draw there for me personally even if others seem to like it... just seems like mostly nonsense threads to me. Which is probably why I avoided it in the first place.

As a FYI, I was not saying anything about work of any specific author or person, merely as a overall experience, I came away mostly uninterested and unimpressed. I just don't see the appeal.

Probably just me... this is also from someone whom does not bother with social media despite being a programmer and using a computer most of the day every day. I've no facebook or twitter accounts, not interested in those sites in the least. Even if my brothers and cousins are. Closest would be LinkedIn... but I've not actually visited my page in years.

It's basically IRC, but with a built-in bouncer and a UI that didn't come from 1970. If you don't treat it like it's anything more, it's good.

Good point, was not thinking of it that way, but it actually is sort of, which also explains things. Because phone texting and internet chat never much appealed either.
