The Avengers - Post Credits - 1 scene or 2?

So, I just finished seeing The Avengers (Great Movie!) and saw several articles speculating whether or not there were 2 Post-movie scenes or just one.

I saw one scene mid-credits and left the theater. Was there another one? <_<

I guess you'll just have to go watch it again. You know, to make sure. :p

Hah. Very good chance of that happening... the movie is fantastic! Joss Whedon really pulled it off. It felt like watching an epic comic book story.

Just got back from the pre-screeening and I have to say this was worth all the buildup.

Tthis is the kind of production Joss Whedon does when the studio execs let him do his thing. Hit all the right notes for an Avengers movie. The whole theater burst out clapping spontaneously at one point, and plenty of humor (but not enough to interfere with the serious) to be found. All in all, a fantastic film, and one that I am going to see at least once more.

As for the second scene, there was one, but it was just the team chilling in (what was presumably) that restaurant that Stark suggested they go to after the battle.

Glad to hear that Wheedon got to strut his stuff. Not checking this thread again until monday, can;t go see it until then.

what was the hulk's reply after interrupting Loki's you suck speech? I sorta missed it since everyone in the cinema including myself were laughing at his beatdown.

He said "Puny god"
Which is so in-character that is it hilarious by itself.

A buddy of mine who also went to see it thought Hulk said, "Big deal."

I'm disappointed in Loki. After the Hulk kicks your ass, you teleport the hell out of there before you get caught. That's super-villain 101, man.

It seemed like a lot of Loki's power came from his staff. Which he didn't have. He only did the illusions without it.

Also he's was a bit busy being a dent on the floor to teleport.

Project an illusion of yourself disappearing until you can crawl away safely. Of course, for this universe, this is Loki's first try at being evil. I guess there's still a learning curve.

Honestly, I'm just hoping we'll see Amora the Enchantress in Thor 2.

Now you have me thinking of who would make a good Amora for the movie....

Joss Whedon says he's not and his actor apparently still has a contract for more movie's, but Whedon's a liar and we haven't seen the contract, so who knows.

There wasn't a lot of blood where he died. He's probably on life support and Fury just used his temporary death and unsure of recovery as a "real tragedy" to get the team moving. I mean this is the guy who smeared Phil's collectables with blood for shock factor

He's probably going to be pissed that Fury destroyed the value of his collectibles? Must have been worth soem serious cash.

Fury probably either had dummy cards made up or will have an improved set waiting for Coulson when he comes out of surgery.
