I don't think Kirei knows what Zouken is doing to Sakura, actually, at least not in detail. All of his information comes from Tokiomi (who I damn well hope doesn't know) and a single meeting with Zouken where Zouken basically said "ho, ho, ho, I'm actually just trolling Kariya, I know he can't win, so please go ahead with your plan, it's rather funny, actually". Just from that, he came to the conclusion that Zouken was an enemy who must be defeated.
Fate/zero makes it clear that Tokiomi does not know about the abuse.
/carry along
Actually, I don't think it
does, at least not explicitly, but I would agree with you that it is highly likely that he doesn't know, and I was not claiming otherwise. I was just pointing out that, if Tokiomi doesn't know, then likely nor would Kotomine.

Fate/Zero also makes it clear that Tokiomi would not care. If she wasn't adopted, he would have let her become a specimen to be dissected. He was happy that didn't happen, but wouldn't have moved to stop it.
Actually, this just plain isn't true. Tokomi would not have let her become a "specimen to be dissected" (although he may well not have been able to
do anything about it), and the thought of it happening caused him no small amount of distress.
Sakura's abuse would just be necessary sacrifice in his mind since its purpose is to transfer the Makiri magic crest to her and become a brood mare. He considers this a good fate.
Well, it's debateable whether he would be OK with what was done to her if Zouken's intention had genuinely been to turn her into his heir and to treat her accordingly, because he may well have considered the ability to be a genuine magus to be worth the suffering Sakura would go through to get there. However, there's no way in
hell he'd be OK with Zouken using her as an experimental subject or brood-mare. His intention was for her to be put into a situation where she could use the potential she was born with and become a great magus in her own right, and Zouken never allowed her to do that.
The mother who's name I refuse to remember, was so set on becoming a 'good magus wife' that she utterly failed both of her children. I really don't like her and if it weren't for Kariya's suffering, I would have laughed at hers when she saw her husband dead. As it was, I wish she suffered more.
You mean Aoi?
Yeah, I can't argue with you on this one. She failed miserably to act to limit her husband's stupidity, and let her daughter be sent to another house with no guarentee
whatsoever that she'd be safe.
