The First's Necklace.

Considering everything that is going on right now, is it feasible to expect a backstory on this particular artifact?

Something to do with the skipping stoned perhaps...

It just seams more and more likely that the first Created the stone, not discovered it. With him being friends with Madara, perhaps a growing likelyhood that he had influence on it as well.

Maybe a bit on it bringing misery?

Recovery Statement: Doesn't stop it from existing in flashbacks.

Second Recovery Statement: It isn't exactly clear in the manga if it is destroyed. Sure there are rocks floating around the hand but in the next panel there are rocks as well. (although it is 99.9999% chance destroyed.)

While it might have had some historical significance it's properties came from the man who owned it because he owned it.
