In Fate/Grand Order you have Servants (Saber Lily) and Craft Essence (Shirou (Limited / Zero Over)) that when equipped increase the Servant's stats. This is just a waffy take on it.

Yeah it's Alter, but it makes no difference.

They're pretty much the same person after all. The only difference is the circumstance in which they were summoned into the war.

It seems that if you summon Artoria as a Lancer-class Servant (in which case she gets Rhongomyniad instead of Excalibur), for some yet-undetermined reason, a portion of her body appears different from usual. Her height doesn't change, but a portion of her body has clearly grown in comparison to her self as a Saber. It's a matter of debate whether the youth-preserving effect bestowed by Avalon is not in effect if Artoria is summoned with her spear instead of her sword, or if the flow of magical energy from the spear has caused growth in a portion of her body....

The above is more-or-less how the profile for the non-alter Lancer Artoria discusses the subject (when Lancer Alter Artoria was released, the developers accidentally put the yet-unreleased non-alter version's profile in her profile entries. They've since corrected the error, but...), including how they keep dancing around directly saying that they mean that she suddenly has huge tits.
