Sorry to necro, but I have to point out that in the beginning of the trailer it appears that Bilbo is narrating to Frodo several decades after his adventure, so having Frodo make a short cameo in the movie wouldn't be too bad. Legolas on the other hand...yeah, it's probably just a short cameo as well, but it makes sense because, like Bissek said, he's the Prince of Mirkwood.
Oh yes, and I am going to totally buy the soundtrack, if just for The Songs. That was probably the best part of the trailer.
