Akamatsuverse The Legend of Shinobu

Inspired by people writing Shinobu as Shinobi:

A good ninja is the last person you'd suspect of being a ninja, yes?? Shinobu is a kunoichi of the Koga clan, hiding in modern society as a Normal Junior High School Girl. One day, she receives a mission from her Clan Head: Seduce Urashima Keitaro, to bring his bloodline into the Clan (he has that extreme durability thing, and might have other abilities that they'd find useful). She is not required to marry him, she could just be his mistress, or a fling who gets pregnant, but a long-term relationship is preferable.

While the other girls are a problem, especially as killing them would be a waste (and she really doesn't want to, anyway), her biggest obstacle is that he sees her as a little girl, not a young woman. Kanako is a close second, though, as she seems rather ninja-ish, at least for the Akamatsuverse.

I'd give this idea its own thread, but I can't think of a title. Suggestions?

Kanako may be the most ninjaish indeed. She has Ki attacks of a sort, is an expert martial artist, and even plays a ninja character against naru when they were at the arcade.

Hadn't known about the arcade (or didn't remember). Had an idea for a name, but I'm not sure its a good one: Shinobi Shinobu.

I'm gonna have to suggest a reference to Ninja Nonsense: The Legend of Shinobu. Not sure what the original title was.

Still, highly amusing idea. Devious!Shinobu ftw.

She should write Kaede, ask how she got those even though she's only a year or two older

For some reason, I know have the mental image of Su moonlighting as the underground rave DJ 'MC Three Eyes'.

I figure she'll drop a mix of house/industrial mixed with pacific islander music.

So, it has a name, now, and thus its own thread.

What might Shinobu do to keep the others from interrupting her when she's trying to have some alone time with her Sempai? She doesn't want to kill them, as that could attract attention, and would make it harder to get Keitaro in the mood - and maybe she doesn't want to kill anyone in the first place, which could be a big part of why she has this mission.

Well, she could just knock them all out, but I don't see that working. Motoko could (probably, since I don't know all of her abilities here) beat her in a straight-up fight unless she was totally one-shotted, and that doesn't usually lead to not killing. Drugs, maybe, since she already does <s>all</s> most of the cooking and a good chunk of the cleaning.

Those are short-terms solutions, and may only work once or twice. Still, better than nothing, and reasonably ninja-ish.

Of course, alone time is only one part. There's still that 'sees her as a little girl' thing.

Hmm, another though: what about rival ninja from the Iga clan?

Ways Ninja!Shinobu could get alone time?

Let's see, she could spring out of a linen closet behind them with a cloth of chloroform. By the time they take a gasp and realize what happened, they'd drop. They could wake to find themselves in any of many compromising positions that would giver Shinobu leverage over them.

She could set them to fall into a trap that leads into one of the various mazes in the Sou.

Or, create one trap door that leads to the equivalent of a chute slide that dumps them on the next outgoing express train to Hokkaido.

She could use a hypnosis drug to make them "want to take a day vacation somewhere".

She could have them "Win" travel vouchers.

She could trick Suu into taking them on "an adventure" but Her and Keitaro mysteriously disappear along the way.

Use your imagination and run with it.
