The new Roger Ebert.

This guy Roger Ebert. Writer, film-critic.
I followed the man for many great years. (actually very few considering my age) Read his reviews and watched clips from his show. I love the guy. Even If I didn't always agree with him, he always made great and often very compelling arguments.

Now when he's dead (for 2 years) , I feel an empty loneliness. I need to find a new critic, movie-guru with that same heart-full love for cinema and writing. Or at least someone that always has that interesting and different view on, and understanding for, cinema.

Anyone got one? Someone you look up to. Maybe yourself.

(sorry if a sound like a puss)

Didn't he say he didn't consider video games to be art?

The Escapist has a decent movie reviewer on their site. I generally like MovieBob's Escape to the Movies videos, even though I don't always agree with him. He does a lot of other interesting videos about movies in general as well.

It's hard to say who you'll like though. Most of the time I get reviews for anything off the internet just using a general Google search and seeing what pops up. I rarely actually use video reviews to be honest and mostly just read articles about whatever it is.

I also like the Zero Punctuation video game reviews. Again, I don't always agree with him, but they are entertaining and can give a pretty good idea of what a game is like.
