Just a thought I recently had:

Voldemort was sharing his identity with his closest followers back when he was a student, whatever happened with that?

Clearly, he must have had a few people to follow him, so what happened to them? Did they disappear, once he had enough power that he didn't need peopel who knew his hald blood origins? Did they form some sort of evil shadow council, while Voldemort kept Dumbledore's attention?

Just something I would like to see explored. Most of his current followers seem to be in their twenties or thirties, maybe forties, while his original followers should be in their fifties or sixties at a minimum.

His oldest followers are probably the fathers/uncles of his next generation of followers. The oldest ones probably died off without telling their progeny the real name of the dark lord they followed; the only one in the current generation of followers who is certain to know is Lucius Malfoy, because Voldemort had to give him the diary which had the name "T.M. Riddle" openly printed in it.

Lucius himself seems to be (slightly) pragmatic on the blood issue, or at least he is not as rabid as Bellatrix. Muggle-borns have to be gotten rid of, but half-bloods can be made useful. If they are useful they can live. Case in point: Snape is a Muggle name, yet when Severus was sorted Slytherin, Lucius (a prefect) clearly welcomed him to some extent.

Bellatrix on the other hand is just an attack dog that Voldemort can point at people and say "Kill them". Maybe not literally but close enough.

Anyway, you got my two cents.
