I suppose that, just from the title, you understood some of the things that this fic implies. This is a crossover between Phoenix Wright and Love Hina, yes. And that implies a main character death, for the Hinata cast. The settings... Well, for Phoenix, it's after the facts happened in Trials and Tribulations. For the Love Hina cast, I don't really know... I suppose somewhere before Pararakelse. Well, I hope you like it. Writing at the level of Phoenix Wright's script is going to be very difficult, but I'll try. Enjoy!

Prologue

If there was something that Phoenix Wright hatedà It was probably some of the cases he had to work on. Especially when they were complicated, mysterious andà With someone who was going to be processed in place of the culprit. Well, the last part was at the same time the worse thing that could happen in a processà And the very reason that he was needed.

Not that he minded helping people in needà He just complained that it could have been a little more easy. That he would meet assassins that wouldnÆt go so far out of their way as to create magnificent schemes to hide their fault and to make someone else take the blame in their place.

ôàö I wonder why things like these happensà From what Keitaro told me, they always had been a æhappy familyÆà So, how in the hell did things like these happen?

ôWright-sanàö

ôAh. Keitaro-san.ö Phoenix shifted his attention from the Court Record to the newcomer, taking in his full sight. One could easily say that he had not slept much, last night. No wonder. All that story must have been hurting him more than anyone else. ôI see you came aloneàö

ôNot really. Kitsune is already inside. Shinobu couldnÆt find the courage to come, so, Suu and Mutsumi stayed with her at the Hinataàö Keitaro scratched the back of his head, looking at the ground. Then, he raised his head again. ôDo weà Do we have any chances?ö

ôIÆll find a way to prove her innocence, donÆt worry, butà Are you aware of the implications of this trial, Keitaro-san?ö Said Phoenix, looking at him in the eyes. Keitaro just returned his gaze to the ground. ôI will prove her innocence, butà As things standàö

ôàö Keitaro bit his lower lip.

ôThe only one who could have killed her is another one of the tenants of your dormàö

ôExcuse me. I think I will reach Kitsune in the court.ö Said that, Keitaro turned around and walked away. Phoenix shook his head and sighed. Like he had saidà This was probably a case that he was going to hate with a passion. He returned his attention to the Court Record. He began to read again the general informations about the trial

Trial #ST-79

Date: 03/09/20XX

Defendant: Aoyama Motoko

Victim: Narusegawa Naru

Turnabout Hina
First Proof: The murder of Naru

Two days before the trial

ôHmmmà This is what I get for trusting Lotta for informationsàö

Yep. Trusting someone like Lotta Hart for informations is like a double-edged sword. When theyÆre true, they can be very useful. When they were wrongà Well, there was the example. After a series of successful and well paid trials, Phoenix had managed to gather enough money for a vacation. And so, he chose Japan as his destination. But, he knew little next to nothing about the country. So, he had to ask someone elseà And guess who was the first person that came to his deranged mind? Yep. Lotta Hart. And surprisingly, every information had been correct, till that moment. The places to visit, the sightseeing, the plane ticketsà But, she had gotten wrong something. The hotel. The place had been closed sinceà Ever. So, there he was, in the Hinata district of the city, alone, and without a place where to stay the night.

ôThe hotels I phoned to were all fullàö Phoenix actually snorted. It was almost sunset and he had no place where to stay for the night, still with his luggage in one handà And the growl coming from his stomach didnÆt help either. ôWhat to do, nowàö

ôHey. YouÆre lost or something?ö

Hearing a new voice, Phoenix turned around blinking. He found, standing behind him, a woman around his same age holding a bag of groceries in her hands. The thing that immediately caught his attention was the cigarette in her mouth, though.

ôNot reallyà I just had a bit of a problem with my hotel reservation.ö Replied Phoenix, scratching his head. The woman just took a breath of her cigarette and blew out the smoke, before tossing it to the ground and stepping on it with her right foot.

ôI know a place. Want to come?ö

ôEh?ö Now, Phoenix was blinking. One moment, he was lost in the middle of nowhere. The next, a strange woman was offering to help him. With his work, he had been used to suspect of everything. So, he took in the woman in front of him. A cigarette. An impassable stare. A bag of groceries. Andà Was she wearing an apron? Well, he just scratched the back of his head. ôEhmà Thanks?ö

ôYouÆre welcome. Now, be useful and carry these.ö Suddenly, Phoenix found himself carrying both his luggage and the bag of groceriesà Well, scratch that. The woman had suddenly caught a hold of his luggage in place of the bag of groceries. Like the heavy object was less of a bother than the bagà Well, the bag did not have handles, after all. Without even waiting for him to get the bag in a good position in his arms, she began to walk. Phoenix just did a little spring to get by her left side, and then adjusted his speed with her. ôThe nameÆs Urashima Haruka.ö

ôEhmà Phoenix Wright.ö

ôHmmmà A foreigner. So, I suppose Phoenix is your first name.ö Haruka turned her head slightly to the left. ôAm I wrong?ö

ôN-No, youÆre right. IÆm here for a vacation.ö And in saying that, Phoenix almost tripped on a little rock.

ôHmph. Well, I think you got pretty lucky with me finding you here. The cook is going to prepare her specialty, today.ö

ôAhà By the way, where are we going? Is it your house or an inn you know?ö

ôWeÆre here. You can see for yourself.ö Haruka pointed at the enormous building in front of himself. Phoenix stared upà He knew the place. The Hinata inn complexà Well, from what he had read, it had been turned intoà ôThe girls-only dormitory Hinata, right?ö

ôYouÆre well informedà But, let me tell you something else. Some of the girls inside here are a littleà Particular. One of tme almost bordering on psychotic. They have the tendencies to call all men perverts.ö At that, Phoenix blinkedà And then smiled.

ôIÆm used to that kind of girlsàö

ôOne of them always carries around a sword. And she uses it well.ö

ôI know one who always carries a whip around. And I lost count after the 20.347 hit.ö Haruka blinked at him, this time. Then, she shook his head.

ôWell, then, youÆre probably gonna have no problems with them, as long as I introduce you and you keep your hands to yourself.ö With that, the two began to climb the stairs, Haruka lifting the suitcase off the ground.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ôGirls! IÆm back!ö

ôAh, Haruka-san! Did you manage to get those things I asked you for? IÆm sorry, butà Oh?ö The little Shinobu had invited Haruka-san for dinner that evening for two reasons. One, because it had been a while since she had eaten with them. Second, because she needed some ingredients for her special stew that she had ran out ofà But she didnÆt really expect her to come back with another person. ôOhà Hello. You brought a guest, Haruka-san?ö

ôThis is Phoenix-san. He will join us for dinner.ö

ôHi.ö Phoenix waved at the blue-haired teen-ager in front of him. The girl just bowed politely.

ôMy name is Maehara Shinobu. ItÆs a pleasure, Phoenix-sanà Oh, you carried my things for Haruka-san. You can give them to me, now.ö The girl offered the lawyer her hands, so that he could pass her the bag of groceries, but Phoenix just smiled and shook his head.

ôNonsense. Just show me to the kitchen. ItÆs quite a bunch of things, inside here.ö Said Phoenix, while slipping out of his shoes. Shinobu was a bit taken back by this, but she just smiled.

ôOf course. Please, follow me.ö Shinobu led the lawyer to the kitchen, where he leaned the paper bag on the oven. ôYou can go and sit with in the living room. I will handle the rest.ö

ôNaahà Since IÆm an unexpected guest, I might as well get the table ready.ö Shinobu chuckled.

ôHaruka-san is already doing thatà But I suppose you could help.ö Phoenix turned around. Indeed, Haruka was already setting things on the table. He scratched the back of his head and walked to the woman.

ôSoà How many people live here?ö

ôLesseà ThereÆs the Karinrin, of course, Keitaroàö Phoenix blinked at that. That was a word of Japanese he didnÆt know. Haruka shook her head. ôThe administrator.ö

ôAh.ö

ôAnd the girlsà ThereÆs Shinobu, who youÆve just seenà Then Naru, Kitsune, Kaolla, Mutsumi and Sarah who visit often, Kanako, and Motoko. Motoko is the girl who carries her sword around.ö Phoenix laughed nervously at that. And why did the last bruise from FranziskaÆs whip begin suddenly to hurt?

ôShinobu, weÆre back! Did Harukaà Oh?ö More girls had entered the house and the dining room, suddenly, along with a man. The manÆs most peculiar feature was his somewhat dorky attitude and his glasses. It was probably theà Karinrin, right. The other girlsà One had squinted eyes and a generous ædecolleteÆ, and the other oneà Had the biggest pair of breasts Phoenix had ever seen. Even bigger than MiaÆs. ôA guest? This is unusual.ö

ôI brought him home, girls. So, be nice to him, alright? This isàö

ôà Youàö

ô?ö

Everyone turned towards two girls who had entered later, after the first group. One had a strange antennaà Ah, no. It was her hair. But the other oneà Yes, she was carrying a sword around. But that was not what worried him. It was her stare. Phoenix felt really uneasy.

ôYouà You areàö

ôAck! Calm down, Motoko! Yes, itÆs a male! No bigàö Tried Haruka, but she was interrupted by an incredibly loud squealà Courtesy of Motoko?

ôKYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! P-PHOENIX WRIGHT-SAMAAAAAAAAA?!ö Said that, silence fell into the room. Everyone looked at said man, Motoko with shiny eyesà Phoenix did what came to him the most naturalà He nodded. Motoko blushed and fainted on the spot.

ôà Guys, was it just me or did just Motoko act like a freaking fangirl at a concert of her favourite rockstar who happened to stage-dive in front of her?ö Said Kitsune, her eyes open and wide in surprise, for once.

ôàö Haruka turned towards Phoenix. ôJust who are you?ö

Phoenix sweatdropped. If he remembered correctly, similar things had happened to Edgeworth too. æWhen the fangirls attackàÆ, he said.

Motoko's a Phoenix Wright fangirl... :snigger:

There were several grammatical errors, some of which made the dialogue seem rather wooden, but other than that it seems too early to tell.

One of these days I'm going to have to get around to actually writing Motoko Aoyama: Attorney at Law. I've been sitting on it for about two or three years now.
