A four legged figure slowly walked through a darkened library, the only light in it being numerous lanterns, any sky shown through windows showing an absolutely dark night, completely unchanging in anyway, unmoving, the moon full and bright.
The six energies burst from their forms and unite, twirling in the air as they form one single rainbow beam of pure energy, the dark being before them yelling out in utter fear and defiance as it crashes down upon her, crackles and zaps sounding off as it does.
As the figure, feminine in appearance, walks by a lantern, lavender skin can be seen, with a purple mane on the ponyÆs horned head deep in thought as she approaches one shelf in particular, her mind occasionally thinking back and trying to figure out where it had all gone wrong.
Suddenly the crackling and zaps start getting louder and louder, dark energy seeming to strike against the beam, until the energy blast is deflected, fading off into nothingness, the dark figure, briefly looking confused,, getting a dark grin on her face as she starts walking towards the six who dared to challenge her.
A pink star surrounded by white stars on her flank, her horns glowing softly as she slowly pulls a book she had marked for looking at early slowly, her body showing signs of faded bruising. æWhy did she let me live? Why did she give me this position?Æ she thinks, not for the first time, the book slowly opening, pages slowly flipping over, one by one.
The six ponies eyes widen, unbelieving that the energy had failed, but as the dark equine, much larger than any of them, charged towards the six, the purple unicornÆs horn glows brightly, and suddenly, the other five, a pink pony, an orange pony, a yellow pegasus, a white unicorn and a blue pegasus vanish from the scene of battle, the purple unicorn glaring defiantly at the black Alicorn before her.
Soon enough she found the page, a spell only to be used in a time of great need, one that, due to it only even being able to be used in the greatest of crises and required a great amount of magic and preparation behind it, was hidden away in the most forbidden sections of the library, a place of which she was well travelled.
ôI just hope that whoever this hero is... that he can help us allö she whispered to herself, her horn glowing brightly, a spark of white light then flying off into the air, off into the starry skies as she knows her tormentor will soon call on her, if only to gloat some more.
As this spark seems to join the stars, a figure in darkness watches, a dark switch being held with a much darker magical aura than the purple ponyÆs, a black body, with a silver top and a red button on the top.

A spark of light flies through the sky, lighting up wherever it travels, if only briefly, the entire landscape shrouded in the darkness of night time, as it slowly enters a dwelling within a tree, the outside damaged and vandalised, branches snapped and barren, paintings that insult the people... or ponies, as the case may be, who dwell within it. The spark slowly settles its way into the home, glowing brighter and brighter as it grows larger, until eventually, with an almighty flash, it disappears, a figure of the kind few in this land have ever heard of, and none have seen. The figure in question is wearing a black jacket over a white shirt, as well as black pants, his black hair slicked up so that itÆs shaped almost like a rocket, slowly groaning as he manages to pull himself up. ôUgh... what was that light?ö he said slowly, looking around ôand where am I?ö As he pulled himself up, heÆs almost immediately knocked back down to the ground again, dazing him briefly, and noticing that his attacker, when he finally can focus, is a... blue pony?
ôAlright punk, whyÆd ya break in here?ö the pony... female by the sound of her voice, shouted at him ôI donÆt know what you are, but if they think youÆre going to scare me theyÆre sorely mistaken!ö
Before the male can respond, a sleepy sounding yawn can be heard as... a small dragon walks down the stairs, confusing the poor man even more ôRainbow, whatÆs the alarm? No-oneÆs broken inö he says

Spike, on the other hand, stood there, eyes widened ôI donÆt believe it... theyÆre only supposed to be legendsö he mutters, breathing fire onto a candle, lighting it as he takes it over to a bookshelf, both the pony and the man looking on, confused, as he rapidly pulled out a few books, looking at each one in turn, tossing them away ôeureka!ö he said, pulling out a book marked æMyths of EquestriaÆ ôyou can let him go Rainbow, heÆs not a threat, heÆs a humanö he explained, opening the book, pointing to an entry on a page, a drawing of a pony and a human drinking together being shown ôaccording to Equestria myth, long ago, before Princess Celestia, humans would appear from their own world to assist ponyÆs in defeating great evils, although as time went on, this became less and less frequentö he pointed out, looking the man over ôalthough youÆre much bigger than the book saysö he adds.
As Rainbow reluctantly steps off the man, he smiles and gets to his feet, finding that the pony, standing on all fours, is about half his height, so he can stand up perfectly fine in the room. ôIÆm not just any human, IÆm Kisiragi Gentarouö he said, smiling.
ôHelp us? How could he do any better than six of us did with the elements?ö Rainbow growled out... Gentarou took a bit to look her over too, aside from two wings he hadnÆt spotted before, he noticed quite a few bruises and cuts on her, Spike having less, but still some.
ôDonÆt worry about Rainbow Dash here; sheÆs a little... angry nowadays, IÆm Spike, welcome to Equestriaö he says, shaking GentarouÆs hand ôLet me say that IÆm honestly not surprised by your arrivalö
Gentarou smiled, eagerly shaking the dragons hand ôTo be honest, IÆve never heard of an æEquestriaÆ before, but IÆll be happy to help outö he declares.
Rainbow Dash smacks her hoof on the floor angrily ôyou donÆt even know where you are and your already rushing in to get yourself killed humanö she pointed out ôI donÆt know where you come from, but here, a dark force has won, and the fact that its currently night out reflects that!ö
ôJeez Rainbow, little piece of sunlight you areö Spike said, sighing as he spots Gentarous confused look ôIÆll explain from the start. YouÆre in Equestria, a land where ponies, unicrons and pegasi mostly populate the land. It was ruled over by Princess Celestia, a kind ruler, always trying to ensure the best for all of ponykind...ö he trails off suddenly, looking to the ground ôuntil...ö
ôUntil a little over a week ago... or at least, thatÆs how long we think has passedö Rainbow Dash picked up ôwhen the evil Nightmare Moon broke free from her imprisonment, banishing Celestia and turning it into eternal night. Myself and five of my friends tried to stop her, but even after we passed through many trials and adventures... we failed.ö A dark look crossed her face ôever since some of the ponys around this town, Ponyville... have blamed us, or some of Nightmare MoonÆs new goons have been showing up to æpunishÆ us.ö
Gentarou looked at both the inhabitants of the Library, before smiling ôweÆll just have to change that wonÆt we? If we work together, then we can probably defeat this Nightmare Moon, I promise IÆll help you anyway I can!ö he eagerly declared, only to suddenly kneel over as heÆs bucked in the stomach.
Rainbow simply snorted again ôare you kidding me, you look even weaker than Spike is in a fight!ö she growls out ôso you can just go away, leave us alone!ö she shouts, walking back into another room, slamming the door behind her.
Gentarou blinked as he slowly manages to right himself ôwhatÆs wrong with her?ö he asked
A heavy sigh came from the baby dragon ôI think she still puts some of the blame for Twilight, that is, her friend... and my oldest friend, being left to face Nightmare Moon alone. SheÆs taken it harder than anypony else that I know.ö
Gentarou frowned as he stared at the shut door, slowly approaching it. He could only imagine that feeling, probably something like he had felt when he thought he had trapped Kengo on the moon due to his own stupidity. He sat down, looking at Spike ôso, where should we start if weÆre going to defeat her?ö he asked.
ôWell we need to gather up the other four remaining element bearersö Spike said, looking at the closed door ôbut if we want to go the way thatÆs the least suspicious... we need to go to Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres.ö
Gentarou nodded, but looked at the door again, sighing ôbut itÆs not worth it if we donÆt have one with us in the end, right?ö he asked, only getting a nod out of Spike. He approached the door, slowly opening it and crawling through the small doorway, Spike watching him with apprehension, not wanting to go near Rainbow when sheÆs in such a state. Inside is an extension of the rest of the library, just books and more books... except for in the centre, where a sobbing Rainbow Dash has collapsed on a pile of books, slowly sniffing as she looks up
ôWhat? Never seen a pony cry before?ö she said bitterly.
ôI donÆt know what happened that caused you to get this sadö Gentarou pointed out, crouching down next to her ôbut what I do know is that we need you to help us in all this if we want to do it... so I want to hear your story, after all, weÆre going to be friends.ö
Rainbow DashÆs bitter look only intensified at that ôYou donÆt want me as a friend, trust me, what kind of friend doesnÆt back up another in needö she said ôAs a bearer of one of the Elements of Harmony, I was supposed to embody Loyalty, never turning my back on someone, always standing by their side, making sure that they make it through safely in the end. But when Nightmare Moon was about to attack us all, Twilight teleported all of us away... and I didnÆt go back to help her. I left her behind, to fight the mare in the moon alone. ItÆs my fault that whatever happened to her happened, I shouldÆve stayed behind to help herö she continued, tears streaming down her cheeks now as she spoke each word through a choked sob ôbut instead I turned tail and ran, all the way back to Ponyville, and IÆve been guarding this place for Twilight ever since. I owe her that much at least.ö Rainbow looked out a window, right at the full moon ôshe was just too powerful... too powerful for you to help. What makes you think that we can do any better where we already failed?ö
ôBecause as a friend, even if you mess up, you always have a chance to solve the problemö Gentarou replied, a smile on his face ôI remember one point where I almost got one of my friends trapped somewhere, purely because I didnÆt notice a pattern in things, and then I almost lost his friendship totally because I tried to lighten the load off of him, make it safer or him... and made him feel like he was being replaced. And yet we became friends and friends again each time, because he understood in the end, and he gave me another chance. Your friend, is she like that?ö
ô...a littleö Rainbow Dash admitted ôOk, IÆll help you then, but IÆm not doing this because weÆre friends, we arenÆt, IÆm doing this to find out what happened to Twilight and hopefully apologize for leaving her behind.ö The two slowly walked out of the room, Rainbow looking at Spike with a small smile ôok, whatÆs the plan?ö
Spike smiled back ôWe go to Sweet Apple Acres, then come back around and grab the others, then head straight to Canterlotö he swiftly explained ôthe only problem is how are we going to get Guantanamo-ô
