I'm just starting out and wanted to see what other people had for armies. I'm planning on becoming Necrons.

How do I slim it down to 2000?

Hmmm....you could drop the pariah's....or the flayed ones....they haven't been that effective for my opponent up till now, but I guess they could work against some targets that aren't Grey Knights or Orks...

Kind of strange to see a Lord without a Veil and.....somehow that destructor lord seems a bit overloaded...verrry overloaded....


I myself play 'nids, Grey Knights and Chaos Daemons now, slowly crawling over 2000 points for each of them.

I'm actualy thinking about starting up an army. The only thing stopping me is the price. IBut since Christmas is coming up I'm hoping to get some. As to what armies I'm thinking of playing, either IG or Nids.

From what I have heard from my circle of friends is that the only thing IG is good for is their tanks which you could use as a space marine anyway.

on A already have like 5 people in my circle of friends who play marines. If I don't play necrons I'm probably going to play Chaos Marines(Khorne leaning).

B. Yes that is me.

I decided to necro this for one simple reason, today I got a package in the mail. It was a small, thin, box. Inside that box was a Christmas present that had gotten lost in the mail. The latest edition of the Imperial Gaurdsmen Codex.

I am very happy.

Now all I need to do is get figures, and a core rule book.

Quick, n00bish, question, do all your troops have to be the same? By that I mean can I have Cadian Fire Drakes with Death Kriegs?
