Weird Fanfiction.net Error?

Lately, like in the last few days, I've noticed a weird symbol pop up in place of the ' symbol in contractions. Changing the encoding doesn't seem to help at all. I was just wondering if someone else had this problem.

I've noticed it, it seems that the Fanfiction.net auto formatting is wonky, again.

I just assumed it was a failed attempt at converting windows-1252 "smart quotes" etc. to UTF-8, or something like that. Other non-ASCII characters, like em-dashes, were also being replaced.

Why even bother reporting FFnet errors to anyone but FFnet themselves? It's not as if their problems are anything new.

I dunno. All I did was alert the author and he uploaded another copy and presto, its fine.

I just wanted to know if it was something wrong with FF.net or my computer, cause it was starting to bug me a little.

I can say I've not seen that issue in the last few days, though in fairness, I've been busy painiting and house updating. I've still been there enough I should have seen it though. Oh well.
