After seeing all 3 movies I consider the 3rd movie to be the overall best seeing the 3rd movie at east anime.com

If by best you mean the most consistent 'high quality' animation then yeah, I could see that, but that story was garbage, and the fights were mediocre to say the freaking least.

First took some major blows from the Mary Sue in my book, and the middle of the second dragged on too long. Overall second one probably topped out, due to the end sequence being both sensible (Save Ikkaku obviously) and actually using hollows that are an actual threat for once... >>

That I am. I'm also biased due to dislike of Mary Sue's and Villain sues that are quite frankly too dumb to live mixed in with remorseful and UNGODLY selfish brats and the movie expects me to feel sorry for with such a trashy back story that came from nowhere. While Kusaka strayed a tad closer than would be advisable in that regard too, I will admit, it goes without saying that the absolute trash that was the villains of the third movie don't make a compelling case (Granted though, the guy wasn't TOO bad if you just focus on him, but DAMN if that girl wasn't annoying). And let's face it, the movie didn't play him out to be anywhere NEAR as sympathetic as those two... >>

I haven't watched any of them in full but prefer the first one due to a single AMV. Though I have to admit it is the most farfetched of all of them. Can you think of any logical reason for Ichigo to smile?

Ichigo would at best frown.
He was grinning in his fight with Grimmjow. "Slasher grin" seems plausible enough to me. :p

Slasher grins don't come out while fighting. They come out when striking down the helpless.

I've only seen the first one. I am currently rewatching it, and I just realized how much more depressing Senna's flashbacks are after the scene at the end in the graveyard. It kind of really depresses me.
