I just forget Super Mario Bros movie was in any way, shape or form related to any game and that makes it not so bad.

But that trailer for King of Fighters tied for me with Street Fighter (the one with Jean Claude van Damme, in case there are others).

To be fair, The Rock as Sarge was pretty awesome. Too bad the rest of the movie was so shit not even his usual over the top antics managed to save it.

My co-worker and I would regularly go to movies together. Whoever suggested a film would buy the tickets, and if the film was good, the other would pay him back.

House of the Dead was the only time he didn't pay me back. Fuck that movie was terrible.

But no, I give the honor to Dead or Alive. Why? They picked a Caucasian actress to play Ayane. I would have suggested the newer Street Fighter Chun-Li movie, but I didn't see it.

yes but there are things that even the most electrifying man in sports entertainment and movies today can't save plus he was sadly the bad guy he should have been the good guy

Well, let me assure you it's definitely deserving of a place here.

Also, what's going on? Just over ten posts and we've only mentioned House of the Dead from Uwe Boll's shitacular filmography?

(lastly, to whoever who mentioned the 1994 Street Fighter movie, yes, it is terrible but it's far from the worse if only for Raul Julia as M. Bison)

I have not seen it myself; I've only heard of it via Cracked, who has an article about it: 7 Baffling Moments From the Worst Video Game Movie Ever. and it's safe to say that's all I need to know about the movie.

Read and despair.

House of the Dead is heads and shoulders above just about every shitacular video game movie adaption you can think of. You can say Super Mario Bros, but that movie was pretty entertaining if you didn't know anything about the series. House of the Dead, though, oh, no way in hell could it be called entertaining with or without knowledge of the series. Hell, they didn't even bother staying consist with much of anything even within the movie itself. Not even character death is safe if you saw the ending.

You know, you guys are kind of jumping the gun here since almost all of Uwe Boll's filmography is video game adaptations including three Bloodrayne movies, two Alone in the Dark movies, a Postal movie, and a Far Cry movie.

The sad thing is that the Postal movie is the closest to the feel of the source material.

Also... that Chun Li movie was pretty bad. Dead or Alive at least had some roles cast correctly. The Chun Li movie had Vega played by a member of the Black Eyed Peas. It also made Bison... Well lets just say you'd think the guy belonged as an extra on a episode of criminal minds rather than being M Bison.
