Waiting on your bit, Meinos. Here's a little something for after Wuya left.
-------------
Omi shot up from his futon, with considerably less pain than the last time.
"Whoa, easy there, kiddo," A clawed hand eased him back down to the bedding.
"D-Dojo?" Omi's eyes went wide as he looked around, "Where is she, where is-"
"Wuya left, kiddo," Dojo said, looking downcast, "Sorry."
They were both silent before Omi finally asked, "Is it true, Dojo?"
"I...I think so, Omi. You are a lot like them, and Wuya at least believes it."
Omi was silent again, but it was eating at him inside. Was Wuya truly his mother? Was Grand Master Dashi his father? He had wanted parents his whole life, ever since he understood what being an orphan meant, that's why Hannibal Bean's trickery of a village hurt him so.
The monks of the temple were truly caring, but he wanted what he saw when he saw Clay with his father, or when he saw Kimiko with her father, he wanted the feeling Raimundo got when he talked about his mother, father and his many siblings. He wanted a father who taught him to be strong and told him how proud he was, he wanted a mother who made sweets for him and always said she loved him.
I have to know. he thought, fighting back tears, If only I could see... His eyes widened as he had an idea. He tried to get up, only to be pushed down again.
"Easy, kiddo, you were pretty beat up."
"Dojo, do we still have the reversing mirror?'
"Uh, yeah," the dragon said, confused.
"Would you get the reversing mirror and the crystal glasses."
"Huh?" The dragon asked intelligently, "Why?"
"Dojo, Please..."
A look of sorrow stopped any argument from Dojo, who nodded and left towards the vault. Soon, Dojo returned and Omi quickly grabbed the Wu from his claws, donning the glasses and looking into the mirror.
Please let this work
"Crystal Glasses! Reversing Mirror!"
Images flashed before his eyes as the Wu activated. He saw the battle he had just been injured in, and he saw Wuya's rages, as well as Dojo's, as Hannibal Bean died.
He saw the first encounter with Jack Spicer's grandfather.
He saw his ill-fated attempt to prevent Chase Young from becoming evil.
Faster, and the images went faster. Gaining the wudai weapons, Hannibal's bid for freedom, becoming Wudai Warriors, becoming apprentices, meeting the others for the first time, growing and learning from the monks, Dojo Finding him in the woods, then.
A bear attacking his infant form before that, only to be stopped by...Chase Young? Who watched over him until Dojo drew close.
Farther back, he appeared in the woods in a flash of light.
Further back, look further back...
Before the flash, into his past...
It was Wuya, but not as he'd seen her today, except in the showdown she'd used one of the Yo-yo's in. She was in white robes with red trim, she was smiling and her overall appearance seemed, for lack of a better term, lighter, as if she had not a care or worry in the world as she carried a small bundle Omi just knew was himself as a baby. He couldn't hear, but he could see Wuya whispering and the baby Omi laughing and giggling and reaching for her. Something got her attention as she turned to someone.
Grand Master Dashi...
They...they kissed and she passed the bundle to him, Dashi holding the baby close as his little hands gripped his father's nose, letting go when Dojo popped out of Dashi's shirt, making little faces that baby Omi obviously enjoyed. Soon, even Guan and Chase had come in, the four adults laughing and talking as only old frinds can, Wuya cradling baby Omi close. He couldn't hear what she said, but he could read her lips perfectly.
'I love you, my little treasure, forever and always.'
Omi couldn't take anymore, he tore off the glasses and cast them and the mirror to the side, weeping openly.
"Kid," Dojo dashed up, "Omi, are you alright?"
Omi forced himself to calm down, but he couldn't, he looked to Dojo with tear filled eyes, and spoke, "She...She called me her little treasure. F-Forever and always."
Dojo understood, more then anyone else would, as he hugged the boy. Wuya didn't have much family growing up, so her son, the start of her own, was her own greatest treasure, one she was willing to do anything for.
Omi was her child, the son of Dashi...

Gotta go to work, I'll finish this tonight.
