You as a Disgaea Character

So I've been replaying Disgaea and Disgaea 2 recently, when I came to wonder, what kind of place would the Netherworld be if the likes of TFFers were in this kinda hellish plane?

I've made my own fan character already, but just for fun, lets see what everyone else makes up, perhaps this'll bring some story ideas to the fore.

Name: Fairly obvious

Title: Whatever you call yourself or what other people call you. "Mid-Boss" is a good example

Weapon of Choice: Fist, Sword, Spear, Axe, Gun, Bow, Staff or Monster Weapons

Special Abilities: You are special! Make up three abilities and what they do ^^

Favored Lackey: We know how kick ass you claim to be, so what kind of generic monster of job class would always be by your side for support?

Claim to Fame/Infamy: What kind of Evil are you up to? What do you plan? More importantly, how did you become what you are?

I'll start things off as an example.

Name: Bayazon

Title: Smiling Overlord

Weapon of Choice: Axe

Special Abilities: (O represents affected units, X represenjts unaffected squares, B represents Bayazon)

Wind God's Blessing - Speed and Accuracy boost for self and surrounding units around Bayazon.

Heads Will Roll - A powerful wide swing that hits units in front of Bayazon. The axe magically grows in size before Bayazon swings, affecting enemies and allies alike. May cause paralysis.

Angry Face - The Smiling Overlord unleashes a can of utter and complete whoopass on any unfortunate soul in a straight line, slicing up to six squares anmd rending the very ground they walk on.

Favored Lackey: Cleric, since they can wield bows for long range support and have all manner of buffs and HP healing abilities. Very useful.

Claim to Fame/Infamy: The Smiling Overlord seeks only one small thing. Universal Domination. Evil? Debatable. After all, the worlds are in utter chaos, they need someone to control them. And instead of some jerk doing it, why not a nice guy like him? Sure the sinister looking axe LOOKS intimidating, but he's a nice guy who does everything with a smile. Favorite phrase? "Please surrender yourselves to me, I promise everything will work out if you do" After the first few dozen corpses of those who say no, people eventually find out how nice he is.

Tends to wear glasses, though mainly because they soften his features.. .that and the spirits inside aid in his accuracy with his chosen weapon.

Name: Alexander

Title: Apathetic Magician

Weapon of Choice: Staff

Special Abilities:

1) Zone of Silence

50% chance to lock Special attacks around Alexander.

Can only be activated after Ignore has been activated twice in the battle. Frees his bottled emotions to unleash the beast all over his tormentors.

Favored Lackey: Zombies/Dragon Zombies. They don't mind sitting around not doing anything for a while.

Claim to Fame: Used to be a real go-getter of a demon, but was continuously overshadowed by the accomplishments of his namesake, the God of Destruction. After a few millenia of trying, stopped caring about advancement. Ironically, it was shortly after this that Alexander gained his own Netherworld.

Alexander was summoned by another Overlord to serve him in his capacity as a magician. The overlord grew outraged at the way his new minion outright ignored him, and attacked him mercilessly, only to be blown away by Alexander's eventual counterattack. Alexander is one of the most beloved Overlords in existence due to the fact that he lets the residents of his Netherworld do whatever they want, up to and including stealing the loot from the corpses of those stupid enough to persist in attacking him. Spends most of his time staring at a TV.

Name: Zebbic of Rozland

Title: Mischievous Thief

Weapon of Choice: Gun (can used Thief Hands to steal)
Z - Zebbic, O - Targeted square, o - where target ebds up after move, X- Uneffected Space, z - Where Zebbc stops after a move

Special Abilities:
1)Mug

Zebbic Charges through his opponent doing moderate damage and stopping two spaces away with a healthy purse of Hell in hand.

2)Now you see me...

A move that's hard to follow. Zebbic calmly pockets his hands and vanishes. blurred after images are seen appearing in various locations firing off shots at the opponent. Though of the eight blurred moves theres a 20% chance each time that instead of attacking Zebbic with be shown flipping the opponent off, making a face, or some other such gesture making the damage for the first part of the technique variable. The final blow is quiet solid though as Zebbic reappears behind his foe and opens a full clip of both pistols sending them several spaces away.

Zebbic's ultimate move. He unsheathes his wings and takes to the sky with a mad grin. Charging his Pistols with mana her rains down a rapid stream of Black and blue fire balls. Finishing he charges a large pulse in each gun and fires, the two blasts twisting around each other until they connect with a boom

Favored Lackey: Succubus, a nice mix of power attacks and mild support in a sexy body to boot. (or any female units in general he's not that picky...)

Claim to Fame/Infamy: Zebbic is a lot like robin hood, though with more stealing from the rich and less giving to the poor. Holding no netherworld allegiance of his own he travels between them on his Nethership the Silken Gypsy. Though he is often up to his own brand of chaos he has a mercenary attitude and has been known to run errands or offer passage on his ship to those with the right price. he's also quite the womanizer, and can have some swayed loyalty to female employers if they offer up a different price.

Name: Blight the Furious

Title: Wanabe Dark Hero

Weapon of Choice: Insturments (espically Guitars)

Special Abilities:

Class: Unique/Humanoid

Title: Bastard Angel

Weapon of Choice: Spear (S), Staff (A), Gun (A), all others ?

Area of Expertise: Heavy direct damage single-target high-accuracy physical techs, heals/buffs/debuffs, high enough RES and HP to tank everything short of a ZETTA BEEEEEEAM~!
Downsides: only average Movement and Jump, learns techs slowly to start, not many ranged attack specials

Specials:

1) Up Yours
Base Stat: STR
Effect: Base STR x2.5 damage, chance to paralyze opponent for 1 turn
Range: 1 square, up to 3 squares away, in a straight line in front of him
Description: Flips off the opponent, who is stabbed from below by a spear of light.
Learns: Starts with it.

2) M.R.I.S.S.F.Y. ("My Reasoning Is Superior, So Fuck You.")
Base Stat: INT
Effect: Debuffs opponent's INT and RES, chance to cause Paralysis
Range: 4 squares distance, 5 affected squares, cross-shaped AoE
Animation: Lots of word bubbles with squiggles spout from him as he lectures, uncaring of onlookers. Targets affected have exclamation points appear over their heads, followed by bluefaced fear.
Learns: Level 40

3) Got Your Back
Base Stat: RES
Effect: Large RES+DEF buff, plus effect of Giga Heal
Range: Self plus 4 adjacent squares
Animation: Self-assuredly thumps own chest with his fist, followed by standard heal/buff effects.
Learns: Level 80

4) Profane Litany
Base Stat: INT
Effect: Inflict Paralyze, Confusion, Forgetfulness, Silence on one enemy, plus small INT-based damage
Range: Single square up to 6 spaces away
Animation: Comically-censored text spews from his mouth as large 3D blocks, and fly at the target in sequence, impacting with slapping noises.
Learns: Level 120

5) God Damn It
Base Stat: STR
Effect: STR x5 damage to one target, Star element
Range: Single square directly in front of him (results in one-square knockback on Grey)
Animation: Grey screams "JUDGEMENT, BITCH!", gets a triple zoom-in effect centered on himself, and uppercuts the enemy. The target is struck by lightning from the heavens at precisely the same moment, leaving them to fall to the ground blackened and smoking.
Learns: Level 200


Special Effect: Heals 1% of his max HP at the start of every turn

Favored Lackey: White Dragons

Claim to Fame/Infamy: Grey is an angel who was kicked out of Celestia for being a mouthy asshole.
A few centuries before the start of Disgaea, he said some very unkind things about Vulcanus (all of them true, but still unacceptable for an angel from Celestia). He would have gotten off with a slap on the wrist, had he not turned and called Seraph Lamington a "namby-pamby, useless little peacenik pussy" for defending Vulcanus (which Lamington did not actually intend to do).
Ironically, this lead to Vulcanus' schemes being ignored for awhile afterwards, so Vulcanus effectively got away with it scot-free because of Grey's behavior.

After being booted from Celestia (sentenced to "2000 years of lessons in humility"), he wandered the multiverse, doing pretty much as he pleased and living a surprisingly normal life. Many demons, and even some weaker Overlords, would attack him during this time, only to be defeated.
This led to Grey becoming a bit too sure of his own power, so when Supreme Overlord Zetta (before the Sacred Tome incident) came to conquer the Netherworld that Grey was passing through at the time, Grey stepped up to the plate.
Zetta handed Grey his ass so badly that it took three transmigration cycles for him to recover his strength fully.

He still has 9 centuries left to go on his sentence.

Description: A Icy sphere of DOOM is formed in the hands of Deviddo and then shot at the targeted enemy.

Effect: target is hit by a Ice attack (Damage base don ATK and SPD stats), 70% chance target is frozen.

Frozen targets can not move or attack until they are thawed, or hit by another attack. However any attack hitting a frozen target does double damage.

Description: Forming two energy spirit blades in his hands, Deviddo proceeds to duplicate into 9 copies... each performing a serious of attacks using the blades on his target

Effect: Massive ATK based damage on one target.

Favored Lackeys: Nekomatta, Cleric, Ronin, Female minions in general

Claim to fame/Infamy: Deviddo spends a lot of tiem wandering, settling down for a few years in various netherworlds setting up small kingdoms with minions (a majority of them female and easy on the eye), until getting bored with paperwork or wanderlust strikes him again and he leaves his kingdom to favored minoins to run in order to head off for adventure and combat in other places and netherworlds.

He spent a whole season once as the main villian for the Prism Rangers. Letting them have a 'pity win' over him at the end. When asked why Deviddo just smirked and said "its makes it easier to get my enemies to underestimate me this way,besides there was this cute girl mage who was a prism rangers fan I was recruiting at the time...."

Deviddo is a avid reader/watcher of Fantasy and scifi series, and started his wandering in order to track down the latest and most interesting series and rare manga in the netherworlds. Rumor has it there is a pocket netherworld where he stores all his rare copies that he manages to snags, certainly Deviddo is rarely seen without one such novel on his person to read should he get bored.

Once managed to snag the last copy of "Galaxy Overlord Naruto" right from under overlord Laharl's nose at the Netherworld comic shop. The beat down that followed was truely brutal, but later while being healed by a team of his Cleric minions Deviddo was reputed to croak out that it was "Totally worth it for the story."

Deviddo is fairly popular among female monsters and demons. Mainly because he tends to like pretty minions who can hold there own, so often trains them into becoming powerhouses themselves, yet respects them enough not to force them into 'serviceing' him like other male Demon employers tend to do. The worst they have to put up with is his appreciation of there form. Of course Deviddo is always open to willing partners among his minions.

More importantly do to his wandering nature, Deviddo will inevitably give whatever kingdom's he has manged to form as gifts to his minions before wandering off. leaving behind fairly powerful fiefdoms ruled by 'his girls'. At least one of which eventually grew in power enough to claim the Overlord position for her respective netherworld.

Demon Claw: Attacks with demonic right hand. Has a shot at poisoning the enemy.

Favored Lackey: None. He's only been an 'Altered Human' for a couple of weeks, which is why he doesn't have a lot of abilities or a decent combat rank.

Claim to Fame/Infamy: After somehow ending up in Veldime, being cursed and fleeing from various monsters, he was rescued by Etna's prinnies. Thus, he is currently serving under 'Lady Etna', hoping to survive long enough to not die when a random prinny goes off.

If a female character is on the battlefield, his powers of obliviousness make him invulnerable to damage for the next five turns as his sheer force of will prevents him from being harmed while he stares at their rack.

Ability #2 : OMGWTFHAX!
Only useable if a female character on the field was just killed. An evil gleam enters his eyes, and he teleports behind the killer and stabs them 100 times with prinny knives.


A prinny who's sins were being an open pervert, he is known for the ability to ignore everything around him when the opportunity to ogle a woman appears.

Weakness : Takes double damage from female characters.

Title: Spear Master Overlord, Prinny Lord, "That crazy French guy"

Special Abilities:

-"Vos yeux sont magnifique mes chÚries"

Using a silver tongue sharper than even Mid-Boss' on his best day, Aile Noire has 50% chance of charming every female unit on the field into becoming his loyal fangirls.

-"Hors de mon chemin, manant !"

Pretty basic straight lined attack consisting of Aile Noire walking to the opponents on his way (for a total of 6 panels) and literally slapping them out of his way for triple damage.

-"Lance des ?mes, dÚvore mes ennemis !"

Aile Noire summon a spectral spear made out of the souls of his victims and execute a powerful combo attack on a single opponents. That move become more powerful the more victims Aile Noire kills with a spear.

Favored Lackey: Female Warrior, Cleric, Archer and Prinny.

Claim to Fame/Infamy: Auto proclaimed Ultimate Master of the Spear and noble man, that Frenchman Overlord is considered as a complete weirdo by the near totality of his "coworker" for his treatment of the Prinnies as normal, everyday-like demon and not as slave.

That fact had made him a very popular among the prinnies to the point that they compose 80% of his total army and had made them nearly fanatically loyal toward him to the point of countering their natural cowardliness, turning them into zealous prinny kamikaze.

His silver tongue and courteous manner, as well as pretty boy look, also make him very popular among the female demons.
He is particularly fond of the Female Warrior and is rumored to have personally form his whole elite guards squad into the best spear womans of the Makai-verse.

His ambition is to either acquire, create or level up a spear that will surpass all other, even the Longinus in the possession of the Overlord Laharl so that he may truly become the greatest spearman ever.

Weapon of Choice: Guns, Guns and more guns

Special Abilities:

Omni directional Gun blast: on the surface it looks like he makes clones of himself and has them fire at the same t ime. In reality it is him maxing out his speed and firing from a given angle before moving to a different spot.

Gatling Gun Inferno: summons two gatling and fires in two directions


Draw: Increases his speed and accuracy several degrees of magnitude

Favored Lackey: an elite team of 6 Prinnies Lovingly referred to as the Prinny Rangers composed of one Prinny of each variety of Prinny


Claim to Fame/Infamy: DornÆs only goal in life is to beat the people on his list Starting with Overlord Priere moving to Overlord Zenon ( the real one) and all the way to his ultimate goal of taking down Overlord Baal for good to that end Dorn using only his Prinny Rangers has taken over 4 nether worlds and has formed huge armies of Gunners in each all training for the ultimate goal of taking down the Ultimate Overlord
