This is probably useful advice for all of you.
You probably all already know how to fleetsave. But, do you know how to abuse fleetsave and the Recall option to thwart Phalanx scans?
Simply calculate the time of arrival, and recall your fleet so that it returns safely between two attack waves.
Also, if you get fleetcrashed, do not despair! There is still one way to abuse the system: the Cancel option.
Simply choose the most expensive building or research you can afford and start researching it a few minutes before the attack lands. Then, after the attack is over, simply cancel building/research. You'll get ALL your resources back, and the opponent will have made off with shit for his troubles.
Warning: DO NOT choose ships or defenses unless you mean it - you cannot cancel those.
