Nasuverse Your own Reality Marble

A bored ROB (Random Omnipotent Being) empowers you with Nasuverse-style magecraft, to the point that you can achieve your own Reality Marble.

So, what is your Reality Marble, and what do you do with your new powers?

EDIT: No, you don't get a full Marble Phantasm, just the Reality Marble variant.

Also, since you do get magecraft, that means you can choose what style of magecraft you use - even something from other fiction, as long as it fits the rules of the Nasuverse, or you can adjust it to (which the wiki above will be somewhat helpful in learning, if you don't already know them). So, what style would you choose?

Does Marble Phantasm count?

Unlimited Maid Works if not.

Fantasia.

Its effect would be to create an area of space where one of six pieces of Fantasia music is played while everyone but the caster is attacked by the beings portrayed for that piece (i.e. the Pastoral Symphony includes mythological creatures while the Magician's Apprentice has an assault of infinite brooms).

OP edited, to answer a question, and to include information that I forgot, earlier.

Hmm. Probably something to do with Erosion, probably. Erosion of the self, erosion of time, erosion of goals, erosion of physical objects...

Well, it is not a necro if you actually add something to the tread

Reality Marble, Return of Origin

Eternal night. A realm where no light shines from the heavens. Whether through sun, moon or stars, none are present in the cloudless black void that is the sky within this reality marble. Still, it is rather easy to see the surroundings. Not that there is much to look at. The surface of Return of Origin is a stereotypical prairie, with tall grass reaching up to one's hips (this applies no matter what one's length is. This is a purely psychological aspect of the reality marble). In fact, the grass and the opponent(s) are the only things you can see in Return of Origin.

Welcome to the harbor of beginnings. In RoO no use of magic or sorcery is possible. To be more precise, if you were born with your circuits open, you are theoretically capable of performing magic within RoO. Because this is almost never the case, as a rule of thumb it is just said that you can not perform magic within it. This is because your original self resurfaces within RoO, the you if no extraordinary changes occurred within your lifetime up until this point. The you that never opened your circuits, never received a magical crest or attained power or abilities due to completing a task or quest. On top of that, you lose whatever equipment or weaponry you possess for the duration of the reality marble's manifestation. Both the user and the victim are subject to these rules. The only exception are clothes provided by the reality marble that are unisex and identical with only the size possibly being different.

This reality marble is quite circumstantial in its use. It is perfect to use against dead apostles, who were born human, or against magi. It is however suicide to use against those that are naturally superior to yourself. Demi-gods, true Ancestors and full gods (like Medusa before being cursed) are rather obvious examples of this category. You should also realize that you as well as your opponent(s) will have to completely rely on unarmed close quarter combat skills. In here, only the conditioning of your body and your fighting instincts matter.

It is interesting to note that you assume your true age as the being you were born as when entering Return of Origin. This effectively neutralizes every and any attempt to alter your lifespan. Dead apostles whose total existence is more than about a century will, in the best case, be extremely weak and more or less unable to fight back. However, it is more likely that they dissolve into dust. Any and all curses or enchantments cast upon a person after their birth will all be countered within RoO.

When RoO is not manifested, the user could, by holding anything (or anyone), undo any changes upon that which he holds in the same manner as his reality marble would. If the user really goes over the top with it, he could even reverse time and its effects upon that which he holds. It is as such not impossible to de-age someone or return an object back to its raw, unrefined materials. When letting go of it, the changes he brought forth will gradually (in a matter of minutes) disappear.

The Pit of Despair

It at first appears to be a simple world, possessing a uniform grey sky, and perfectly level, pitch black ground. However, it quickly becomes apparent that the ground is not solid, but is actually a thick, tar-like substance. Currents within the tar will pull all those standing upon it down into the tar, including the caster. It is nearly impossible to take flight with the reality marble, as strands of tar will stick to the person's feet and pull them down. If one is already flying when the reality marble is activated, the grey sky will twist to try to send the flyer into the tar.

As one sinks deeper into the tar, the tar engenders a feeling of hopelessness and uselessness in the person, damaging their ability to try to escape the tar. Once one sinks deep enough, they will begin to drown, and at this point will likely not be able to desire to struggle against it.

These effects hit all withing the reality marble equally, save that the caster cannot drown in the tar. This is because the reality marble is a reflection of the caster's inner world, and thus the caster is acclimated to existing within the reality marble from having to endure it as a matter of course.

Correct.

Very nice. I would guess that the user (story-you) would work out a lot, and study martial arts.

@Jorlem: Its good.

Reality Marble: Clockwork Apathy

'Appearing as the inside of a collossal, slowly, almost lazily moving clock, the power of 'Ennui' and 'Slowing' is usable by it's wielder. This allows the wielder to selectively slow or even outright halt anything, even concepts, inside the Reality Marble, but as it is only a limited, 'false' form of temporal control, cannot stop things from existing or occuring.
These effects can be overcome, but require substantially more effort or, if the object/concept was magical in nature, prana than it would normally require.'

Can't really think of any other applications of it besides limited time control or slowing/halting the concept of aging when it's used internally but I based it the fact that if anything my Origin would probably be Apathy, Ennui or Slowing...Yeah I'm lazy as all hell and I made it a Reality Marble

Reality Marble: Silent Ocean

A place of utter quiet, where no sound can be produced or heard, where everything is calm as oblivion. Like its namesake, it manifests as an ocean, with everything within range feeling like they are underwater.

In the area of effect, all enemies move and act more slowly than usual, but can still breathe (slowly). In addition, the user's movement is unaffected, and concentration shoots way up, as well as becoming completely calm, thus unaffected by anything that can cause him/her to exit that state. The user also has complete awareness in that area as well. Finally, any enemy caught in the area will gradually take damage over time as the water wraps itself around them and slowly crushes them to death using water pressure.

The user can also manifest the mental aspects of this reality marble without manifesting the actual area itself.

Aria:

Under a bright and everlasting sky
The bright blue water shines
I am here, floating in the middle
Forever calm
Forever unwavering
Forever silent
As I become the water and the water becomes me
My heart lies in this Silent Ocean

Made an activation aria for Clockwork Apathy

"Tick, Tock, Tick, Tock
Everyone rushes 'round the clock
And no one ever thinks 'let's stop'
To many, life is a party
But mine, however, is a 'Clockwork Apathy' "

Also, to anyone who's interested, can anyone Nasu-style these a bit? I'd do it if my writing was any good.

Reality Marble: Senshi no Kan / Warriors' Hall.

A place outside Time and Space, all the memories of the fighters born from the Humanity rest here.

The effects of this Reality Marble are two:
1) The user, when he/she touch a weapon or an instrument CONCEPTED AS A WEAPON (Servant included), access instantly the memories of the better user of said weapon (generalized weapons like guns, rifles and so on get a 'shade' who is the collective knowledge of all firearms users who have used that particular type of weapons), his/her skills and even some of his/her phisical attributes.
2 (RM active)) The user and his foes and allies are transported inside a giant, nearly-infinte sized Hall, with countless mirrors suspended in the air. At the user command, a mirror or more place itself behind the user. Inside the mirror, a 'alternative self' of the user will appear. An 'alter ego' with the full skills of using the weapon choosed by the user (inside the RM, the alter egos will have automatically their chosen weapon). After that, the mirror will break itself, altering the user into his alter ego form.

@MWkillkenny84: Neat. I could definitely see the Clock Tower giving the user a Sealing Designation for that reality marble, as it appears to be linked in some way to the Throne of Heroes.

Was thinking about this the other day, more along the lines of if the concept of The Doctor was summoned, or something like Kronos/Chronos.

I have walked the paths of the shifting sands
Forever dancing with the restless wind
I am the storm
My well is deep
Remember that which has never been

Lay still the shifting sands
Rest in silence, the dancing wind
Calm the storm
Let the well flow over
Eternity/Moment of Eternity/Shard of Eternity/whatever

Basically, time and causality become the users bitch and the world becomes as they percieve it, the multitude of possible paths that may have been, are, were, will be, may be, could have been etc. Where they can make the path they choose the only path, the only possibility, can unmake any event that occurs within he boundary of the field and manipulate time and/or space at will.

Simply being inside the reality marble when it activates and getting a glimpse at the world as it exists for such a being is enough to drive most insane.

Partial manifestation allows the user to move impossibly fast, as though the world were moving in slow motion, or be in two places at once.

Ultimate manifestation can force the target to experience the entire weight of eternity (as a conceptual weapon), blasting them from the face of existence entirely, going so far as to unmake lesser beings like your average mortal.

Probably way to powerful, but reality rejects certain changes which can cause a heavy backlash against the user, and won't turn out as intended or only be semi-permanent.

Will they truly want to go against someone who will be a badass, superior version of Lancelot of the Lake?!?

Would they want to? Just think of how much one could learn by studying this mage's magecraft. It somehow is capable of equaling a Noble Phantasm. Why wouldn't they want to? As for how to capture this RM's user, tranquilizer darts, maybe?

Anyway, getting off topic.

For the magecraft that is the partial, exterior manifestation of my RM, it would be some sort of psychological attack. I was thinking of it being a type of Mystic Eyes. By looking at someone and activating the Eyes, the victim would be gradually overcome by a sense of despair. Direct eye contact wouldn't be necessary, but if the victim looked into the user's eyes, the effect would be greatly accelerated.

So many useful Reality Marbles. So many dishonest people. :p

The Scale Libra - Instantiation of All Karma

Past actions are weighed and merits are dispensed accordingly. The greater the imbalance, the greater the result. Applies to everything and everyone in the vicinity.

Manifests as phantasms that grant strengths/wraiths that enfeeble. Get a lopsided enough result, the phantasms/wraiths gain physical characteristics, i.e. absolutely horrendous person will be mauled and devoured by the amalgamation of his past deeds, while a theoretically perfect person will be elevated (Incarnate) to the level of (as a) Divine Spirits.

Effects are not controllable. Affects user as well. The count is updated in real time for as long as the realization is active. (That is to say, the user probably shouldn't be killing anyone while this is active. Of course if the user were to die, then it wouldn't be active anymore. D: )

There is no chant, or spell, or ritual, the realization has no other discernible physical effect.

Essentially it's One Step, but closer to No Step since it's not a spell, more a thought. Of course, the realization requires the absolute knowledge of one's soul, so...

Without realization, it subtly influences the owner to pay back all acts in proportion. Not completely determined, but a trend/habit.

(Also not about Good or Evil, but a repayment of actions. What goes around, comes around, you get what you give essentially.)

I notice people don't seem that interested in this part of the OP, or just didn't notice it.

Anyone have thoughts on what your magecraft might be?
