Harry Potter Alternate Guardians For Harry

I am not that much of a poster, but I just had a spectacularly weird idea after watching TF2's Meet the Medic video.
What if Harry...was raised by the Team...assume the Pyro is a woman. >.>
Any thoughts on how that would go? Would Harry be like a cross of Kirby and the Class Selection Screen?

Has 'Death' from discworld been mentioned? I mean the idea that Dumbledore hands the boy who lived over to the manifestation of Tom Riddle's greatest fear strikes me as poetic justice. Even better, since being around death lends you some portion of his abilities, it'd be fun to see how Harry's talent for magic and his nature as Deaths apprentice interact.
Imagine how Goblet would end if Harry allowed some of his 'Death side' to manifest while their wands were locked in battle. Heck if Harry had learned to stop time (as Susan did in Hogfather) Cedric might survive that encounter.

This is Harry Potter if he'd been adopted by Emiya Kiritsugu and then the Einzberns subsequently. He was involved in the Grail war as the master of Assassin, most probably Jack the Ripper. The story also cameos Hoenheim and Trisha Elric as Mr. and Mrs. Flamel. Oh, and the Einzbern's specialty, alchemy, plays a major role. Herwald has Scar's alchemical arrays.
On another note, I'd like to see a Harry that received a visit earlier in his life and an offer to go to boarding school in America on a scholarship. The school is Xavier's School for Gifted Youth. Harry is a Mutant. And his power...is Love. He can make a person or people in a certain proximity feel love, joy, and affection. Yes, he has a Care Bear Stare. Given the emotional nature of most magic, that makes him a nightmare to duel. He also has combat training. Oh, and his guardian for his stay at the school, a recently reformed Professor Erik Lensherr (AKA Magneto). I'd love to see what Magneto would have to say about Voldemort. Hell, I'd love to see any Legilmens try to get into Harry's or Magneto's head. Charles notices the intrusion later on and pokes the intruder with a comment, "How cute, you think you can read minds."

What's with all this makes 'Harry's life better' crap. Bah and humbug. It's an insult to the orphan genre, I say. :angry:

probably been tossed around a few times before, but what if Harry was raised by some of us?
Not with superpowers or anythign like that. Just us transported to the Harry Potter Universe, with the Will of the Universe keeping us from doing anything to extreme, like killing Harry to get out of raising him, or doing anything to really screw things up.
The most we get to bring with us is a backpack of items, but we get a free background courtesy of the Will of the Universe. Enough to get by with at least.
Might write a basic intro option if I can figure who would be most entertaining to be my co-pilot...
