(Xerxezz how're we (Morgan+I) gonna handle this? i kinda figure we can return to camp talk to "twin blade" and then go back to the original 8 miles (8 hours total) in either direction or change it to 2 miles (2 hours total) in either direction as circumstances warrant?)

Seeing as it there wasn't a demonic beast from hell in our camp (I don't count Stevie) I lowered my crossbow.

I gave the limping form of our newest teammate a once-over and then shook my head, the reast of the gang could take care of his wounds.

I turned towards Jesse and sighed.

"Back to scouting the area?" I asked and slowly turned my horse around... again.

Jee looks to the new arrival and releases a small breath, before pausing to turn to Naktar the dwarf, "Naktar? Do you think it is nessecary to backtrack the new arrivals trail from the camp, into the underbrush? Just to cover things up if nessecary?"

Jee pauses once again to think before donning her new Combat Gloves and testing them out as she Smacks! her fist into her other hand a few times, to test them and nodding once again in confirmation.

"Oh! Naktar? That food you dropped? You may still want to save it for eating.. "

A pause to think about our Cleric's actions, before calling out. "You may want to give instructions about keeping the head above water to adjust for the tide going in and out, and for waves?" before awaiting Naktar's reply, and a eye on Leon and the unknown arrivals actions.

"Aye lass, i think it best we do that..."

Grumbling as i reach down to pluck the bag of rations from the sand before dusting off the bag and retying the cord.

Jee nods towards Leon as she and Naktar ready themselves and depart for a short bit. "Keep a eye open? We should be gone for a while but will soon return, just a short scout of the area, make sure the fire does not die out, okay?"

Jee departs with Naktar. (Exit, stage Jungle, hehe)

Leon nods enthusiastically. "No problem," he says confidently. "I've got everything under control."

He quickly finds a somewhat comfortable perch on some of the wreckage and seats himself, keeping his crossbow at the ready.

I see the Monk enter the jungle, before I sit down and say,
"Hey, does anybody know where we are?"

Urgent Note: Unfortunately I've been forced to drop Avantiar due to the loss of my setting notes and much of my other notes. All I have left is the character creation and the rest of the small amount that ended up on the website before one of my characters had found the other stuff for it I had been working on.

With that said, I'm working up a different campaign that will end up with some slightly different rules. It should be at a playable stage soon.

(Will we need to make some new characters?)

Possibly, it's closer to the baseline so far. The same problem that wrecked the binder with the notes destroyed most of my gaming books at the same time (Pipe busted in the bathroom wall and destroyed anything on my shelves against that wall)

Not the worst part, had to rip out the shower (Stupid one piece showers) to fix it, I've got three more days before it's usable and I'm stuck using the pool locker room from school. Whole wall has to be rebuilt as well, and I may get stuck replacing sections of the floor as well thanks to the water.

As for the new game, it'll still be DnD, just closer to normal DnD than Avantiar

Man I feel your pain, as if losing the books weren't bad enough, water damage to a house or apartment isn't fun...

Then again I'm a swede, and there is few things that scare a swedish male more then water damage to your home...
