Ben 10 alien force WTF???

ALright finally caugtha few episodes of the new series...

not really likeing it... for one thing the new aliens seem way to 'god-mode' to me comparing to the original set of aliens (lets see swampfire can be super strong, absorb blows, re attach cut off limps, cotnrol plants, AND make fire... oh no thats not overpowered AT ALL) ... although I will admit it is a bit darker than the original series...

but the serious WTF?? moment... we have a kid who is the 'son of a human and a Pyronite'...

for those who don't watch the show Pyronite= alien that evolved on a fricken STAR and is mostly molten rock and flame... so my question ist his... HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET A KID WITH SUCH A LAIEN WITHOUT BURNING THE MOTHER TO DEATH???!!

Ooooh I haaaate hate hate hate hate hate haaaaaaaaate hate hate hate hate hate the new show. An Anti hero, they added a fucking anti-hero!! And I do beleive a token black guy to. Why can't more PTS!series be like Reboot? It was amazing.

I loved the original show though.

i 'll admit that kevin is an anti hero and that a half human half heatblast hybrid is hard hard to get my mind around, and i will even admit that swampfire is a little to strong.


that being said


just because they introduce a character of color doesn't make them a token (fill in race here)

was Kai (bens first crush) a token Native American

the enhanced version of both ben 10000 and Ken 10 both stated that that particular future is only one possible. for all we know he could end up with that Julie chick he met in the first ep

SWAMPFIRE is overpowered? What. In. The. Hell. I'll admit that the new guys a bit more powerful than what we're used to, but come on. Overpowered? XLR8, Upgrade, and Grey Matter could do more than Swampfire could if you really thought about it, but since Ben is so stupid and dead-set of using the more powerful forms of the Omnitrix instead of the smart ones, all of the possibilities they offered him (as shown in the What If? Episode where Gwen gets the Omnitrix instead of him.) are rendered useless.

I don't know what to say about Kevin, though, since you not liking him is a matter of opinion -- I, personally, want to see if he turns into Kevin 11,000 eventually.

I actually think that Ben CAN'T use any of the earlier forms. Since it seems that the new aliens are like combos of the earlier ones.

Oh yes, because getting pregnant by a creature who reaches subzero temperatures and shoots out ice blasts makes more sense then getting pregnant by a creature of living magma.

Ever think that, somehow, they could've made Alan without the sex part? We have no idea how Pyronite's reproduce, so stop complaining and just accept the fact that, somehow it happened and we got Alan.

alright just saw the last AF episode.... and i have to ask... what hte hell happened to continuiaty?

Max sacrifices himself..... yet we know from the episode Ben 10,000 he survives till Ben is a adult... the hell?

i take it you didn't watch the enhanced versions of ben 10000 and ken 10.


in both cases it was mentioned that the time line that those took place in were only one possible future and there by the timeline is subject to change . that being said seeing as some of those baby dnaliens survived theres a chance max survived too

OK, Ben 10 Alien Force has a few inconstenies with the original, I'll admit...But the same can be said of many other series as they moved along(DBZ for example.) Also, we can't be sure that what was in the blast area was DESTROYED..for all we know, it all may been sent to the Null Void. I doubt they'd kill Max off like that...

Exactly some times its hard not to get small inconsistences

Also if Kevin could escape from the Null Void Zone I have no doubt that MAx can

Look at the arm he's holding the thing with.

I think Ben 10,000 has a better chance of happening than you think.

The problem with the arm thing is that if this is the same universe as Ben 10k Max lost his arm in a intergalatic war that doesn't take place for another 9 years. (If the series is taking place in 2008 anyway)

By the age of 80, Max has further modified his RV, grown a beard, and lost his arm in the Limax Wars of 2017. In its place, he uses a neuroprosthetic replica of his arm, which can also extend and transform into a laser. Further in the future (now 92), around when his great grandson Ken is 10, Max has lost his beard and much of his weight and height, which was explained as being due to his age and a steady diet of futuristic health food.

Who says the great Limax wars aren't now? Or that, currently, the year in B10AF is 2017, now that Ben (who was 10 in the original series) is now 15? We have no way of knowing!

I'm still sticking with my theory until he comes back, or until something else happens.

i maintain the theory that the adult gwens actions (bringing the child versions of herself and Ben to the future) has changed the future in a few ways

1. Ben realizing what a jackass future Ben was decides to start acting right (leading to the more mellow Ben of alien force.


2. i wouldn't put it past Ben and Gwen to have told max of their adventure in the future . this might have caused max to make different choices then he would have in the original time line (in which Ben and Gwen didn't go to the future.)

as i said before the ben 10000 time line is stated to be one possible future

that being said

i didn't see a corpse so in my mind he ain't dead. hell given the various unknown alien tech, i wouldn't even be willing to say that that was the real Max

I just saw the newest episode, and it turns out their grandmother is an alien that's made of pure mana or lifeforce and can use it anyway she wants and that gwen has the spark or ability!........ :blink: I call bullshit! Back in ben 10 we seen gwen and others use magic spells and talismit! what the hell are the writers thinking?!

What if it's simply that the race the grandmother is a member of (and Gwen apparently) are super-mages.

Actually the magic trinkets were in fact Alien Tech. Any Advanced Tech can be simply said to be 'magic'

And as for the spell words.....well They help her visualize and concentrate. She doesn't actually need them anymore

okay.... where do you say that the artifacts are alien tech, please back that up, if the creators say so, its fine, if not then no, I want proof.

It was mentioned during the Ben 10: Enhanced event

Where they showed Ben 10 episodes with background facts. One of the facts shown was that the Magic Charms that Gwen and the other Mage were using were just EXTRREMELY Advanced Alien Tech.

Also another thing you should know is that you shouldn't expect things that were shown in Ben 10k and Ken 10 to happen as they are only possible timelines.

But yeah we learn ALOT of the backstory from the Enhanced Episodes
