You know, I've never agreed with the concept that one shouldn't criticize an author if one can't write as well or better than him. Just because someone can't do something doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about, especially when it comes to creative writing, which is just about the easiest thing to judge. All one has to do is gauge the enjoyment one gets out of the story, and that's about all that matters.
As for Uninvited Guests, I remember that I tried reading it a long time ago. Didn't quite manage to read through it. Don't remember why.
Nanya, I don't think you write for the fandoms I care for, so I don't think I've ever had the change to read any of your work.
I wonder if you guys realize how petty you sound when you gang up on Z like that. I mean, let me describe the first image that jumped into my mind.

See, Moczo's a popular girl and she's reading her essay in front of the class. Z doesn't like it so she formulates a sarcastic one-liner and lets it go with practiced timing, as she is wont to do.
Nanya, who's always admired Moczo from afar, leaps up to her defense, claiming that since Z didn't even write her essay, she needed to shut the fuck up.
Z, unfazed, simply switched targets to the essay Nanya presented last week, which apparently put half the class to sleep.
ragnarok1337 laughed, which attracted the teacher's attention, and Nanya was forced to swallow her anger. She'd worked hard on that essay, damn it!
So she waited until lunch time and started talking with WizardOne in a loud whisper, about how Z was fat and ugly and had no friends, just as Z herself was walking past their table.
But Zeebee ignored them, because she was a REBEL! and she couldn't care less about their taunts.
