Ranma ½ Can anyone recommend good alt-pairing Ranma fics?

Oh Hyne Herb! Ugh, don't even put that image into my head, no matter how cool he looks or how well he fights him and his people still are part animeal and I can't condone bestiality of slash (even if they are techinally of the opposite sex when 'it' happens). Bah, how about we go for a really crack pairing and try to find a Ranma/Young!Cologne.
Cologne for Teens

Enjoy your crack. *EVIL grin*

Ahahaha! As Fatous One has said before me, P0wned!
The story isn't even bad. Cologne gets her hands on one of those mushrooms, and insta-rejuvenates to about 14 years old.

BTW, if we want to get back on topic, wouldn't it be going back to the alt-pairing for Ranma?á <_< I just love the evolution of a topic. Unfortunately I can't really offer a suggestion yet since its been a while since I've been to the Ranma section. Much less, find a good alt-pairing to it too. :p
Are there any Ranma/Curse!Herb pairings, come to think of it? Both can basically be whatever gender they want...
Well.. there was one in Carrotglace's Insertion.... somewhere.

Now, regading *that other pairing*.. I actually remeber a few well, not full lenght fics, but a couple of omakeish one shot... It actually made fun of (all) the pairings (including an off hand comment that a Ranma/Kasumi (or was it Nabiki) was a very scary thought)

Mushrooms? Yah sure she's not just tripping? Was it a 'magic' mushroom? Nah I'm just kidding, I'm sure it'll be good as I love those type of stories.

That's short one-shot by Ginrai.

Read it here: None of the Above

BTW I wasn't talking about letting WFROSE have it, he's not even close to being the worst. Hell, I LIKED 'Older'. I was talking about the kind of works like the one with the previous link, you know, the kind of completely ungrammatical, disorganized dreck, that can inspire feelings of violence. To avoid going back off topic, that should be all that's said about that.

I think I'm going to start a new thread to deal with this, I think I've created a monster...

Meh, I'm used to thread hijacking. It's commonplace on GameFAQs.

But yeah, back on topic.

EDIT: Now that I think of it, are there any Ranma/Kiima pairings?

There is a pretty good Ranma/Kiima fic at drakuzz.anifics.com that is titled "The Warrior That Returned". I can't remember the plot exactly, but there was a war against the Amazons who had bound their souls to demons.

Gah, don't even try to start this GH, but if you really want an answer then the whole concept of a 'leader' to the gang went out with the 1970's, the new order is that we all function as seperate units moving in coordination with each other but ultimately deciding what to do based on our unified goal and not the commands of some 'leader' type. This way as soon as one dies instead of the entire organization crumbling a new member immediately steps up to replace the old one. :D :ph43r: And that is the way terrorist organizations of today work.

It's a shame The Dubya doesn't realize that: I've been saying for a long time that killing or capturing Bin Laden will not get anything done in the long run, but no one listens to me... <_<

Eh, I try and stay out of the whole 'political' scene but all I've got to comment on that is that as soon as Bin Laden was killed or captured (most likely the former) one of his power-hungry liutenents would no doubt immediatly step up and take his place and probably be even worse than he was. It used to be easier, you just cut off the head and the body falls but now if you cut off the head one of the arms moves up and takes the place of the head while another takes the place of the arm, it just goes on and on until you wipe it out completely, from the ground up.

Well then, Glass the body, leave it a cristalized cinder and cut the problem in one fell swoop

Dude, terrorism is like a leech that latches on mankind's body.

Now, normally, leeches are dealt with by way of applying red-hot embers on them. However, alternative choices should be sought out should an ember of the appropriate size be more harmful than the leech, if you get my drift.

In other words, you'll never defeat terrorism as long as humans exist. Want world peace? Nuclear holocaust is your only choice. But that kind of peace isn't my favorite.

I like the metaphor with the 'ember' being of bigger harm than the 'leech', that wasa suprisingly intelligent, I'm impressed.

And yup, pretty much, which is why a utopia can never exist because as long as man has free will there will alwasy be some dissenters to an idea.

Three Ranma/Kiima fics that I know of (that haven't already been posted).

Simulacrum by Alan Harnum

In my Dreams by Siaru

I'm Ranko Kiima by E-Type

If I'm a terrorist, I must be the biological-warfare kind...
Heh, thanks for the links, and no you would obviously be the hijacking kind because we hijack threads, duh.

On a side note, do you guys think it's about time I should change my avatar for awhile or should I leave it as is?

Change it to Bridget!
Never again. But I'm considering changing it to a picture of the seal of the scrifice that Guts has on his neck to fit with my user title better, "The Bearer Of The Burden". If not then I've got a bunch of other pics that I'm considering.

Bah, you're a coward. Usin' Bridget would show that you're not afraid of having your manliness questioned. :p
