I have a sneaking suspicion that lolicon-ism is just another human natural instinct gone wrong. Men are naturally attracted to young women and the older they get, the less appealing they become in the eyes of MOST males (I know there are a few oddballs out there who look at things differently). This is most likely a natural survival instinct as the younger the females are, the longer they are expected to live. This ensures the survival of the young.

In that respect, lolicon-ism may be that same instinct...but in the extreme.

Though I guess it sort of clashes with the other instinct - the natural male attraction to motherly/maternal figures.

Well, I know what they are referring to (member = Mister Happy on guys). But no, I didn't think that when I first say it. :rofl: Proving THEY are even more perverted than me.

OniGanon was asking if anyone automatically thought of "penis" when they saw the word "member" in their title. I essentially rephrased his question by asking who did not entertain such a thought, given that this board is most (in)famous for its... ;)

But hey, when I left work today, only about 20 000 of our customers were left without power, as opposed to the 107 000 when I left work yesterday. Mayhap tomorrow will be a calm'n relaxing day?

All rightie, the general anime/manga subforum is getting a wee bit swamped, so we now have a Sailor Moon forum.

I've moved every sm-related topic I found in the anime/manga forum, but may have missed something as I've been yawning my ass off for the last hour or so. Holler if I have.

And now there's one for .Hack as well, forgot that I sorta promised to add that one yesterday in a pm. :) Then again, after scouring through the anime/manga forums for .hack-related stuff, I found very little, so there probably wasn't a great rush for it to appear either. ^_^
