When I went to the first Kawaii-Kon, I joked with my friends that we were cosplaying as "members of the Hellsing Organisation on holiday".

Why? Well, we didn't need costumes and we had stellar English accents

Once upon a time I saw a picture of a (real) girl cosplaying as Tsunade.

She actually pulled it off reasonably.

Oohh, I think I know what picture you're talking about. Yeah, she was pretty good.

On that same theme, I thought this Shizune was decent.

I saw some pic of a Japanese girl as Sasuke, and it was pretty damn good. It makes sense that it takes a girl to play him.

There are a few good cosplayers. Alisa was one of the good ones. Some of her costumes were easily pro quality, and she had the looks to pull it off too. That combination makes for a good cosplayer, and is rare to find.
