Okay, a premise for the F/SN h4rdk0r3 fans:

This is a for-fun game. Please, if you absolutely need to complain about a certain person's chances of being a Servant or the class being all wrong, keep the bitching at a minimum, plzkthx. If you can't, exits thatta way. <_<

That said, rules are very simple. Pick a class, pick a legendary figure in history and myths (ONLY REAL LIFE history and myths! No anime/manga/whatnot allowed!), and mix the two to make a new Servant.

Please note that it's preferred if you use pre-existing classes. I don't mind if you feel like making up a new one, but those usually end up being ubered shit, so I'd rather avoid it entirely to keep the F/SN purists from swarming this thread, frothing at the mouth.

You can add as little or as much detail as you want to the new servant. Got a cool Noble Phantasm in mind? Do share! Just have a possible name in mind? A list is fine too! Just please avoid h4x stuff with NPs.

That said... go ahead, and above all have fun!

I'll begin by throwing out my choices for Eirei, and will elaborate later.

EDIT:

Saber: Lady Sun / Sun Shangxiang

Caster: Grigori Rasputin

Rider: Keiji Maeda

Assassin: Jack the Ripper

Lancer: Longinus :snigger:

Berserker: Meng Huo

Archer: Paris (the one who killed Achilles with a poisoned arrow)

There... thoughts?

EDIT2: Added Archer.

Berserker: Samson
Holy Strength

Archer: David
The Lord is my Shephard

hmm, I'd say Moses for Caster but with Deuteronimy it doesn't fit. ^_^

edit: NPs
Holy Strength: as long as his hair remains unshorn he has: A+++ rank in Strength, Toughness, and Speed and a one-hit kill that surpasses damage reduction. The downside is that should his hair be cut the loss in strength is proportional, with the first power to go being the one-hit kill aspect.(EX Rank)

The Lord is my Shephard: Negates any/all the defenses of an opponent including Toughness.(EX Rank)

Well, int he time I was searching, Liam-dom managed to put the same two suggestions as me for Saber, so it's only fair that someone else would also use Robin :mmm:

Well my choices might sound a bit obvious or over done, but:

Archer: William Tell
(apple shots anyone?)

Saber: Charlemagne
(nothing like a King that loves to throw down)

Lancer: Shiva
(tho might need to be demoted from god status)

Rider: Alexander the Great
(good ol' Iskandar)

Caster: Faust
(he was looking for the devil after all)

Assasin: Marcus Junius Brutus
(yes, et tu brute)

Berserker: Arngrim

Rider: Jason
NP: The Argo and the Argonauts, complete with Heracles with all of his abilities. EX rank

Archer: Wyatt Earp
NP: Gunners luck, Wyatt can't be hit by projectiles, all are near misses. B rank
Buntline Special. C rank

... If Jason gets thrown into the Grail wars, he'd better hope that Medea Caster isn't summoned...

Saber: Beowulf.
NP: The Giant's Blade; Cue blade the size of Ichigo's initial zanpakuto that Beowulf can swing around like its a butter knife.

Berserker: Achilles
NP: Rage of Achilles (A ranked passive.) Achilles lives in a state of permanent rage, and becomes more powerful the worse it gets. Unhindered with this NP, Achilles can defy fate itself. This ability instantly reaches its highest ability when Mad Enhancement is used and stacks onto the bonuses that Mad Enhancement gives, giving Achilles almost unmatchable stats.

NP: Armor and Shield of Achilles (EX ranked passive support.) Created by the god Hephaestus, this armor and shield is unbreakable and grants Achilles almost complete invulnerability and immortality, with the exception of one weakness in his heal.

Berserker/Archer/Lancer/Rider (Really, any one will do): Lu Bu

Now, we know that Lu Bu wouldn't be summoned as his game self. Not very likely to happen. However, the fact that a servants fame in a time frame affects how they are when they're summoned, it's guaranteed that someone is screwed.

Lu Bu also fits as Assassin. He did assassinate both his adoptive fathers.

Technically, yeah, I suppose. But he'd suck as Assassin. As Rider, Lu Bu would be at his best.

Rider - Lu Bu Fengxian
A powerful warrior from the early Three Kingdoms era of China. His might on the battlefield was legendary; it took the combined might of Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei at once to force him to withdraw. His skill at horsemanship, archery, and the fabled Lunar Spear were matchless.
From atop his steed Red Hare - a red horse reputed to run with such speed and endurance that it could travel a thousand li in a single day - Lu Bu felled foe and friend alike, for he was loyal to none but himself.

Noble Phantasms:
-Red Hare - One Day, One Thousand Li
Rank B
Lu Bu's famed mount. Some say it was a sculpture crafted by the gods in the image of a horse, but it was so real that, the very instant it was finished, it took off faster than the wind, and not even the gods could catch it.
Red Hare conveys few benefits upon Lu Bu as a mount, save for its incredible speed and excellent training as a warhorse. However, Lu Bu is able to make excellent use of this speed in combat; any opponent of less than A-rank Agility is likely to lose his head from one of Lu Bu and Red Hare's ride-by attacks.
Since it is a summoned creature, Red Hare's abilities are the Noble Phantasm, not the creature itself. Despite having A+ rank in speed when its abilities are active, the cost of using them is only equivalent to rank B. (It still can't be maintained at full speed for very long, though - that B-rank cost is cumulative over time.)

-Fang Tian Ji - Avaricious Spear of the Rebellious Son
Rank A++
Legend has it that Lu Bu could not be slain until his Lunar Spear was taken from him. This indeed proved true. Fang Tian Ji was created long ago by the Crimson Moon in mockery of Excalibur. Where Excalibur represents the hopes and wishes of mankind, Fang Tian Ji represents only its greed and destructive ambition. The Crimson Moon did, after all, have a cruel sense of humor.
When invoked, Fang Tian Ji bestows great strength and martial ability on its wielder, increasing STR, CON, and AGI to rank A, and imparting all the combat experience of all its previous owners. It also grants the user fast tissue regeneration, including the replacement of lost organs (but not lost limbs). When imbued with prana, the blade gains an almost unreal amount of sharpness - enough to cut well-tempered steel like paper.
However, it is a cursed Noble Phantasm. Upon invoking its name, the wielder of Fang Tian Ji will find it binding itself to their magic circuits. Once it becomes a part of them in this way, it begins to change their personality to take on the traits of greed, ambition, disloyalty, and eventually paranoia. If another user takes possession of Fang Tian Ji, or the user dies, Fang Tian Ji will rip away those magic circuits it was bound to and keep them. As the user's destiny is changed beyond their control by this curse, their LCK - whatever it may be - is dropped two ranks; if this would result in a LCK of F, their end is particularly gruesome (and will come very soon after they invoke it).

It is implied that Feng Tian Ji, via its cursed greed, will eventually gain enough power as a concept to exist and act independently. Should it do so, it could spell doom for mankind - the ultimate conclusion of unchecked greed.

---

Yes, I know, I screwed around with the history a bit, but the Nasuverse does this as well, so I thought "When in Rome..." :p

As a sidenote, Fuyuki explicitly mentions Lu Bu's weapon as the only weapon of its type that became a Noble Phantasm. Gilgamesh apparently has it in his vault, but I felt that if Lu Bu were summoned, he couldn't possibly be without it.

edit: I realized after posting this that my idea of Fang Tian Ji could eventually become something like Soul Edge.

Anyone want to write up Nightmare, with Soul Edge as a Noble Phantasm? ...or would that be Soul Edge with Nightmare as its NP? :snigger:

Try this on for size:

Archer - Harry S. Truman

The 33rd President of the United States of America Harry S. Truman oversaw the Allied victory over Nazi Germany in Europe and then over Japan in the Pacific.

More importantly Harry S. Truman remains the sole individual to order the use of atomic bombs, the sole instance of nuclear warfare to date.

While his only remarkable inherent characteristic is his charisma, Harry Truman at his heart represents the epitome of modern conflict. Its the resources, both human and material, at ones disposal that ultimately count more than one's personal skill in battle.

Noble Phantasms

Incoming Fire! - United States Army Field Artillery
Type: Anti-Army
Rank: C

A devastating barrage of artillery fire. Truman can use a wide variety of shells ranging from HE, shrapnel, flares, and all the way to chemical and biological warfare.

This is in fact Harry's primary attack, as it costs virtually no mana to use, can be kept up for days at a time and only major draw back is that it takes a few minutes for the point of fire to be adjusted.

Berlin Airlift - "Ich bin ein Berliner
Type: Support
Rank: B

Backed by the sheer resources of the United States invoking this Noble Phantasm allows Truman access to whatever he needs one plane load at a time. A little slow, but slow and steady wins the race.

Government Issue - Ladies and Gentlemen, today the United States of America finds itself in a state of war.
Type: Summons
Rank: A+

Harry S. Truman gains the ability to summon any incarnation of the military forces of the United States of America from Washington's revolutionary army to today's.

Manhattan Project - "The World will note that the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, a military base."
Type: Anti-fortress
Rank: A+

The second most powerful of Harry Truman's attacks, the Manhattan Project invokes an atomic bomb to be unleashed on the target. Getting Truman to use this attack either requires long and hard persuasion or the use of one Command Seal.

Mutually Assured Destruction
Type: Anti-World
Rank: EX

Unleashes all-out nuclear warfare world wide. Everything dies.

.oOo. .oOo.

Poor, poor, Fuyuki City. First the fire ten years ago and now you've been turned into a radioactive crater.

Ciao

I think Hitler would probably be a Lancer, myself, what with the Blitzkreig and his obsession with the Spear of Destiny. He would, of course, possess a Reality Marble called Third Reich: Empire of a Thousand Years, wherein he and his opponents are transported to a universe where the Axis won WW2. Come to think of it, the Third Holy Grail War would have happened round about the time WW2 did, wouldn't it?

Also, I think Otto Skorzeny would qualify as an Eirei. I dunno what class, though.

Here's a Servant set I made entirely from Guilty Gear:

Archer: Millia Rage
Assassin: Slayer or Venom
Caster: Either Dizzy or I-No )I-No in particular is stated to use true magic)
Lancer: Testament
Berserker: Dr. Baldhead or Justice
Saber: Sol Badguy or Baiken
Rider: Ky Kiske, Johnny or May

EDIT: Yes, I realize I'm breaking my own 'no imaginary characters' rule. But since this thread died with it on, I decided I might as well forget about it and go nuts. :snigger:

Ky Kiske NOT a Saber? WTF, GH. "Well-balanced yet above average" is the name of his game. If he's not a Saber, every GG character except Sol is disqualified.

Sol Badguy could be a good many Servant classes.
Saber? Yep.
Berserker? VERY yes (Gear mode).
Lancer? He'd be weak as one, but he might be agile enough.
Caster and Archer are pretty much out, as his long-range game sucks hard.
Assassin? If we disregard the Hassan rule, then juuuust maybe, considering how he pwnzed Justice.

Baldhead/Faust, I could see more as Lancer and/or Archer.

Zappa can't be anything but Berserker, but I think he'd have full access to all his powers like that. I mean, he's never in conscious control of the spirits anyway.

Venom? Assassin, Archer, Lancer. Take your pick.

Kliff Undersn would own as a Saber. Servants get summoned in their physical prime. Mwahaha.

I-no is all Caster. She travels through time at will, the friggin' cheater.

Justice, I really can't see as a Berserker. She always seemed in full control of herself and her powers. Just because she went beyond the grasp of her "masters" doesn't mean she had no self-determination.
Lancer or Saber for her. (Maybe Caster, but seriously, how many of Guilty Gear's Daredevils aren't experienced magic-users?)

Slayer and Zato-1/Eddie are clear-cut Assassin. (again, ignoring the Hassan rule.)

Testament doesn't seem all that agile. Archer is probably more appropriate for him than Lancer.

Dizzy? Caster or Archer.

Potemkin? It's interesting that, despite appearances, Potemkin in no way at all fits as a Berserker. He's pretty much the epitome of self-control (otherwise he'd be breaking everything by accident).
If theories about such are correct, perhaps a non-standard class would suit him. "Grappler" would be appropriate. (requirements: great physical strength, exceptional stamina, hand-to-hand combat a must.)

My reason for Ky is that his best asset is his high mobility. He's the second most nimble character after Chipp, not counting Eddie, who teleports, and Zappa, who is possessed, hence why Rider - high mobility is that class's biggest asset.

His Overdrive being "Ride the Lightning" helps. :snigger:

As for Baldhead, the main requirement for Berserker is having gone insane at least once in the course of one's life. Baldhead fits that requirement, since he went nuts and became a psycho when that little girl died on him. Justice also fits, as her ignoring her 'programming' fits as losing mental balance, given her state as a Gear.

A Suzumiya Haruhi version of things to come...

Archer: Kyon (Hasn't shown any physical/battle attributes that are exceptional, however, could hold a secret ability up his sleeve)
Lancer: Nagato Yuki (Very agile and bendy :snigger: )
Berserker: Asakura Ryoko (She was classified as "insane" the moment she tried to kill Kyon with her logic)
Caster: Itsuki Koizumi (Not very physical, his ESPer abilities qualify him)
Saber: Suzumiya Haruhi (All-rounder)
Rider: Asahina Mikuru (She can ride time)
Assassin: Tsuruya (Hey, you never know)

My list of heroes for the Servant lot.

- Archer: Yue Fei. I know he was presented as a Lancer by okais, I think but he's more famous by his might with the bow and crossbow. If not, Atalanta.

- Assassin: Kawakami Gensai.

- Berserker: King Thorolf of Iceland.

- Caster: Circe.

- Lancer: Diomedes (the most badass character of the Iliad).

- Rider: Sinbad the Sailor or, for the lulz, Lady Godiva.

- Saber: Roland.

And on a lighter note, the School Days servants!

- Assassin: Saionji Sekai.
- Berserker: Katsura Kotonoha.
- Caster: Katsura Kokoro, Kiyoura Setsuna.
- Rider: Itou Makoto
Reality Marble: Nice Boat - Catadrioptic Contraction of History
- When Makoto rides on the Nice Boat, he triggers an instantaneous freeze of the flow of eventuality and causality. The Holy Grail War goes in a break of exactly one week, in which none of the persons involved can perform any action that may further their Grail War-related plots and strategies.

Technically it's a Marble Phantasm that triggers a Reality Marble, but oh well.
