You thought making LR and GH admins at the same time was a good idea.

Your judgement has been called into question numerous times recently.

Did you forget?

I also only have two votes. It's not looking good for me. Good luck to the other candidates!

When and why? I've never been informed of any of this. This is the first time I've heard about my judgement being called into question.

And you cannot possibly think that any plan called the "Four Corners of the House of Troubles", AKA "The Badmins Proposal", was actually a possibility. I thought it was hilarious personally, but come on, it was dead on arrival.

May as well say you're not voting for me because I plan to invade Russia.

I am tempted to post that imgur of Russia, to show you what a pointless idea that would be, but I shall not.

Anyway, I voted for TK at the moment. He and Chrono are catching up thankfully.

Ryuugi is taking care of the bribery himself. Calling in other forums and such. ¬_¬

Oh bullshit, if he gets to do that then I'm going to start shipping in people, and I bet you my pockets run deeper.

Edit: Purpl3 registered today.

Actually, I just asked some people on IRC if they had accounts and cared to vote. Surprised that many did and cared, but thanks guys. :D

No idea who purple is, though.

Edit: Purple is gone now, apparently. Good bye, whoever you were.

I see no problem here.

It's hardly illegal, but it's extraordinarily bad form. Asking other TFFers to take note and vote is one thing, but starting a registration drive to get votes probably will end with bans. Consider this a warning.

You'll note that everyone I asked had been on TFF since 2007. I'd only asked the ones who'd had accounts already.

(And again, no idea who purpl3 was.)

Sorry, that's not directed at you, just a general statement.

Even if it's:

A: Not for votes for yourself
and/or
B: People who would've possibly joined TFF back in the old days if not for the registration closure
?

Hello folks,

Man oh man am I shocked with how things are going. It happens EVERY time. I check the admin/mod threads, see a good fight, go to sleep, wake up the next morning, log back on and see that half the fight had started without me!

I blame my timezone. Dammit! :(

To everyone in TFF,

Please do NOT just give your vote to a candidate. Make them EARN it. After all, you are going to put them in a position to moderate over you - make sure you trust them enough for the job!

If you come from the Naruto/Bleach sections, then you've probably never even heard of me. I mostly stay around the Ranma, Love Hina and other misc anime sections. We don't seem to have too many TFF members in my timezone, and it IS difficult for me to check up on threads every single day. But when I am around, I like to consider myself a level-headed individual. It's hard; really, REALLY hard to get me annoyed or even angry. I promise that I will not abuse my powers to win arguments - for that matter, I'm not know to use foul language in an argument either (which makes me an odd-ball around here).

Have I ever been a moderator anywhere? No. But I do run a blog online. You can see it here,
http://chronodekar.wordpress.com/category/fun/

I am an honest fanfiction critic. If you are an author looking for feedback - I will give it to you. Other times, I like making fun of stories (see above blog for my most recent review MST3K style!); but whenever I do so, it will almost always be supported by fact.

And that is my election campaign - to ONLY take action based on fact and open disclosure.

The folks who've been voted in so far are know fun-lovers. Don't you think we need someone square in the ranks to keep the machine running? Vote for me and I promise you honest & fair moderating!

-chronodekar
PS: The other threads got locked and I want to say this publicly somewhere; Congratulations to The Ero-Sennin and souffle for winning your posts!

Hardly a bad idea having administration begin with making sure we don't have corrupt officers.

EDIT: Speaking of corruption, I just handed over TFF_Admin for password scrambling. I am now officially ONE OF US ONE OF US.

Quite. I was hoping that a warning wasn't even *needed*.

Even joking about calling for "reinforcements" really doesn't endear me to the candidates.

I don't know Ryuugi, so I'm taking my vote back. Chrono seems decent enough, but he's right. Candidates need to EARN my vote, not simply be in the lead or the lesser of several evils. If need be, I'll vote for myself.

You guys are discriminating against me for reasons that I do not fully understand and I would like to be on the record saying that I don't like it.

They are clearly jealous of our alliance with Lord Raine.

Well, I felt my original blurb was good, so might as well share it here.

Let me begin by stating a fact: I am lazy. I don't like doing more work than absolutely necessary, and the best way to accomplish this is to do things right. I'm well aware that insults are how we say hello here, and that most of us are used to extremely free speech, so I'll try to be lenient as we adjust since most of us are used to doing what we want. I much prefer warnings, especially when they're heeded, to banning someone, since regardless of a person's personal opinions, they can contribute something.

The best type of mod is one who doesn't have to do anything, since it means people respect the rules and don't need to be constantly policed. I don't feel a need to flaunt my power, especially since it's an online message board, and not some omnipotent real life post. All in all, I want to keep things as much like Old TFF as possible, with the additional option of oversight and responsible Admins and Mods.

To add on to this, while I may dislike the necessity of asserting mod power, that doesn't mean I will hesitate when blatant violations occur. A little fun that gets out of hand or an honest mistake is one thing, but doing something in flagrant disregard of the rules is another beast entirely. Everyone present here had an opportunity to express their views on the forums rules, and even now, has the right to discuss potential changes to them. Being upset about the rules is fine, but ignoring them out of some smug sense of superiority, and potentially endangering the effort that Shirotsume invested to help us out is crossing the line, and I have no issues with dealing with those violations with extreme prejudice. This is home to a lot of us, and risking our little corner of the internet is just not acceptable.

Don't want to end on such a serious note, so I guess you guys will have to amuse yourselves with my CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENT!!!

Sorry I couldn't edit it down to the relevant parts. Starts at 2:52.
