Yeah, because he has to break the rules of the world. Only then, there can be peace.

Indeed. And it's an interesting way of seeing things. If peace is impossible under the current rules of reality, what happens when those rules get broken? Peace.

You know, that's a really Exalted way of doing things.

If the rules don't allow you to do it?

CHANGE! THE! RULES! (and break fate in the same process.)

Lets see a hippiemancer which is life/matter excludes motion

That makes him either a

Flower power: Earth/Erf magic, probably like a plant based dirtmancer.

Signamancy: Fate magic, something in between a predictamancy and a changemancy.

Date-a-mancy: Numbers magic, I don't even want to guess.

Well, Sizemore did a little 180.
On the other hand...
They now have resources.
They might not have many units, but... :evil2:
I wonder how many pages it'll be until we see a bid for world domination.
Obviously, it'll be a while (have to put those resources to use, and re-dominate their home territory), but then, it's time to break something.

Most likely, Ansom couldn't bond with it after all, and it seem to respond to Wanda.

Hell, for all we know, the reason Ansom couldn't use it was because he stole it from its owner, Wanda. She did say the damn prick cost her everything after all. So if Jillian is a former princess whose country was destroyed by Stanley, what prevent Wanda from suffering the same thing only with Ansom in Stanley's place ?

Anyway, now let's hope that Wanda won't suddenly decide to go turncoat on them... :sweat2:

It should be interesting to see what Ansom cost her, if only he wasn't dead...

Now THAT is personal conflict if I ever saw one.

On one hand, Ansom is croaked, meaning that we will never have the pleasure of seeing Wanda torture him for a dozen stripe or so before she turn him into her uncroaked slave.

On the other hand, the way he died was so awesome, that any change to it would be a sacrilege.

Assuming Wanda DID find the Arkenpliers, I can guess as to why she would be better attuned to it.

Remember that the Arkenpiers are effective againts Uncroaked. This suggests that they are associated with Croakamancy. Ansom wasn't a caster, but Wanda is, and a Croakamancer at that. She is especially suited to using it.

Maybe suited enough to Uncroak every unit killed in the eruption? :evil2:

Edit: As for what Ansom took from Wanda... I think Wanda was/is in love with Jillian. Jillian's loyalty was torn between the two of them, but when the spell broke, not only did it fry Wanda's brain, but it was effectively a rejection of her feelings. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and there's a thin line between love and Hate.

Another thing... judging by the fact that she received sushi for her daily meal and that some of her clothes seem to be of an Eastern bent, I think that Wanda may have been a native of Faq at some point, similar to Jack the Foolamancer. That would explain why Wand a was so angry at Jillian for siding with Ansom. They could have had a significant history before the war even began... makes you wonder.

Wanda IS a member of Faq, or was. Her class was warlord. Check out the page where Jill was talking about Faq, and look at the panel with the warlords.

Latest Erfworld

Wanda just found Ansom's body... We're about to find out what she can do with those pliers.

Also, apparantly someone predicted Wanda getting said pliers. And she's done alot of stuff deliberately leading to the arken-pliers.

I like the last 2 panels. ^_^

"You didn't wish for this world, Pason Gotti."

"It wished for you."

Oh god...she is going to uncroak him...ALL the way, maybe even with still his original personality but completely enslaved to her will. Talk about psychological warfare. :evil2:

I love that girl sooooo much. :yay:

I'm worried now.
Let's look at the loot shall we?
The Arkenpliers.
Millions worth in Gems.
Stanley's capital.
It takes time to rig up units, time Parson won't have, since it's very likely some one will come raid him.

Also, do note that Stanley is returning with a sane foolamancer...

Don't forget that Jack is no mere foolamancer, he is genius.

That mean that Parson and Stanley, once they are back in business, will money, two extremely powerful artifacts and 4 very competent mages at their disposal.

Won't be long before they go take over the rest of the world. :snigger:

That and Ansom army, which got completely wiped out, was the majority of the "good guys" troops, meaning that with the exception of the Transylvanite, most of the tribes are now dangerously low on troops.

Wanda's little speech makes me worry. I'm starting to think that she is the most dangerous/unhinged person in the group, especially now that she has the Arkenpliers.

Now that I'm thinking about it... How did Stanley manage to find Faq? Given that Jack was there and his track record... maybe he had some inside info? :ph43r:

Uh oh... looks like Wanda can resurrect people now with the Arken-pliers... this could get odd.

Also, I suspect that Stanley got lucky. Remember that only air units can get into Faq and that there was always a chance that someone could find it, -if- the foolamancers aren't on the ball.
